The nicotine content of most cigars and pipe tobacco is pretty miniscule. They're grown for aroma and flavor, hence why so little nicotine in them

Eating tobacco, especially a cigar can easily give you nicotine poisoning. Thousands of kids die every year from careless parents who leave their cigarettes/chewing tobacco out.
Thats not true! A cigarette usually has around 8mg nicotine, while a cigar has 100-400(!) mg nicotine.

This is why very new cigar smokers will get sick and its recommended for beginner cigar smokers to have a lemonade or something with a bit of sugar while they enjoy their cigar.
Nicotine isn't "very good" for you considering nicotine itself is considered caustic. However, there are neuroprotective benefits of nicotine, and i believe NAD is actually a derivative of nicotine. All of the upsides of nicotine with 0 of the downside.

no but it's an easy hospital trip. Alcohol dissolves nicotine and the lack of, you know, a flame, means that in comparison to smoking the stuff, you'll end up with almost 20x more nicotine in this infusion than you'd get by smoking that cigar. Since a cigar contains anything between 100 and way above 200 mg of nicotine, that means drinking that entire jar would have the effect comparable to if you were able to smoke 10-20+ packs of cigarettes in a matter of a few seconds, i.e. a decent amount of that jar will either send you to the hospital with heart palpations or just kill you
