Somehow despite wiping out the entire line-up in the most "original" state its been in a while with the previous album, he managed to find some guys who could bring music that fit the band and kept the style intact, I know he's the main writer, but surely the others contribute. Their contribution could make a song horrible if it doesn't fit. This is very pleasing to see that the sound remains intact, it's still the same band thanks to his Steffen's writing combined with the guys fitting into the band well without the music changing too much. Couldn't care less for the music video, but the song is nothing short of great. Now if only Steffen would remember that he has fans in Sweden that want to see his band live...
How is nobody talking about The fact that this sounds like they went through time back to 1995 and grabbed Thomas Lindberg and that is secretly why at the gates really broke up and brought him to the future to record vocals for this. This sounds so insanely much like a techie version of at the gates, and I am all for it. I even asked my wife who does this sound like? And she goes Thomas Lindberg. This is absolutely stellar.

He has been doing these demonic screeching vocals for a long time, doesn't sound much different to previous albums, maybe that is why.... hes has been doing them a long time thoough obviously not as long as Thomas... Obscura have been making albums for a while though, if you like this check out their catalogue its amazing.... definitely one of the more melodic tech death bands while still stayin heavy and tech...

Steffen is a complete musician, he can play tech death and even put melancholic melodies and nostalgic lyrics at the same time, I can already feel all the power of the next album.

I'm certainly not someone who's in the business of telling people how they should write their music. As long as he enjoys what he's doing, that's all that matters.
