Welcoming 2022 with a BANG! Celebrating New Year Countdown & Fireworks at Niagara Falls

- It was the last night of 2021 and we wanted to go out and witness fireworks in Canada. As a couple it was going to be our first night out on new year and we wanted to be part of the celebrations. We had heard that Toronto is a place to see some amazing fireworks and shows, but we wanted to go to a more open space due to omicron variant scare. So we zeroed in to visit Niagara Falls.
Thank goodness the air was not too chilly and the wind-speed was just a breeze. We were able to get our hands out, without gloves, and take shot of the falls and fireworks. We had a blast - figuratively :P, and had not imagined a better place than this to celebrate new year 2022.
The drive from Waterloo to Niagara was smooth and there was no traffic jam. However, if you are exiting from Falls after the countdown try to get out of the streets asap or else you might get stuck in some nasty jams. We were out of the place right about 12:30 am and were on our way to Waterloo.
Parking was horribly expensive but its a good deal if you get anything around $40 or less. We saw many cars just stuck in traffic to get better parking spots and ended up creating jam right from 9pm.
Overall, if you are in Ontario and have not been to Niagara Falls during new year eve then it is worth a visit. Hope you guys enjoy the video and if you did, do not forget to hit Like and share your views in comments.
