I think because ballet is so exclusive and expensive to participate in , it comes across really cringey when dancers get mad about their subculture getting the high fashion commodification makeover, when so many other subcultures that were actually poor people or poc or taking societal risk get their shit jacked over and over . -a dancer myself

I really appreciate that in your outfit videos, you’re not afraid to use the same piece in multiple outfits. I know a ton of fashion TH-camrs feel pressured to use different clothes for each outfit, but it’s so cool and empowering to see how the same article of clothing can be used in different ways 😊. i dont think it is fast fashion, i think they only have a small team, so it takes longer to produce the clothes and, being a small business it costs more to buy the materials, leading to higher prices.

It’s not fast fashion, but the brand knows their worth I’m guessing. You can’t have an answer for Capitalism in fashion, but I feel like you can justify self worth
This is why I want to know sewing and knitting. I can knit a little bit but I need to improve in order to be able to make a pullover, jackets, socks. As for sewing I have 0 experience 😭 As a broke student I feel like I got no choice other than trying to do it myself. But I'm gonna wish one of their pieces for my birthday.
