Baking Cookies From Memory | No Recipes Allowed

This experiment was incredibly fun and I hope I can do some more #baking in the future, sans recipe. I am still befuddled about the fact that this WORKED!! Recipe Made Up My Me XD:
1.5 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1.5 cup sugar + 2 tbsp for rolling
1/4 cup salted butter
1/3 cup canola oil
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
350° oven
Whisk flour and baking soda together in separate bowl
Cream butter, sugar, and oil together until slightly fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla and beat until mixed. Add dry ingredients gradually and mix until doughy texture. Roll dough into balls and roll in sugar before placing on cookie tray.
Place in oven for 9 minutes, or until you begin to see a little brown on the edges.
