@@bramgn I replayed the remaster Version on Ps4 with my girlfriend. It was not even close to the original… I cant tell you why but it was so f**** easy. We tried the original on our Snes with the real cartridge then and bamm it was challenging
Solo reason SoM was TOP tier for me. LttP was great and played it a lot, but played SoM waaaay more...and the 2players with my bud made it extra magical. SoM > Lttp. I said it.
Evertime i hear the music of this great game i think about my dead father. It was the last game he played with me from time to time. I can remember he got the game from my mum for christmas with the multiplayerstuff so my mum, my dad and me played together :)
Top tier soundtracks from Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3. Fun fact. The Secret of Evermore soundtrack was Jeremy Soule's first soundtrack. You might know his work from the Elder Scrolls games. SoE was a Square game developed in the USA which never released in Japan. It shared only similar combat and ring system mechanics to Secret of Mana but had a completely different story despite its name.
This picture is so beautiful and with the music it brings tears to my eyes I start a new game right now ! thanks god to my new super nes with so many game and of course secret of mana :D
Rainy day and drops fallen from the leaves outside ... I cry all the time while hearing this ... Dont know if im sad or happy ... Best music out there on the planet ✌️
Me and my buddy would play this after school everyday. We would constantly cuss at the Sprite (controlled by computer) for getting stuck behind something. I think we changed his name to F***up. Miss the 80s and 90s.
First game I got for the SNES... (alongside Pop n Twinbee Rainbow Bell Adventures) Lucky me. £25 ... it was the week that the PSX launched. Best purchase ever.
lovely. i played the game to death as a kid when it came out, so even though i got the remake, i end up losing interest as i played it too darn much. vids like this allow me to enjoy the ambiance without having to commit to long play sessions. i can see myself coming back to this vid more than once.
Also, it's the experience playing it way back than. Some things can't be replicated, secret of Mana for me has that, I brought this game used solely because of the cover as 7 years old. I opened the booklet, something about the art, connected to me. Than playing the game, the music, the sense adventure, made this game so awesome. Later on, games like ff6, illusion of Gaia, ff7, breath of fire, lagoon, lunar stories, My favorites CHRONO TRIGGER AND sukioden 1 2 3 combined. As elder, BOTW really help engage my boys with me. Totk, helped as well, which still is, but for me BOTW was calming for older soul. Mario RPG and remastered sukioden 1 n 2, for my kids. Sukioden 3, Luc's storyline was amazing wish we will get remastered as it will.cut LOAD TIMES, TO ZERO.
you're basically right, and i played most of the games you mentioned, all worthy of praise. as for the cover art, its one of my favorite paintings i've ever seen, and i went to art school and studied art history a good amount. i had a lovely poster of the whole painting on my wall right next to my bed. i remember staring at it a lot lying on my side, just thinking, reflecting, and imagining. really it would be nice if we could have the original just ported to Playstation, but i'm sure that Nintendo won't let that happen as conditions are what they are. . @@prirush8800
I will never forget this game.... played it with my two best friends over the multiplayerpad for snes..... Childhood days
Exactly the same for me. Played it with my two best buddies and we now have this shared memory that continues to last
feel you brothers... embrace the good old times!

It makes me sad they keep moving new installments in this series to single player games.
one of the best games of my childhood i've ever played and even today unforgettable
Big Part of my childhood. Loved that game
the old school video game sound tracks are the best👍
I am old 😢now.. Your video took me back years
Yep.

I like that this starts with Eternal Recurrence. One of my favorite songs of all time :)
Takes me back 3 decades. What an awesome game.

Great tracks! I've only played one Mana game (Sword of). I definitely want to play more. One of the best JRPG series from what I've seen so far
I listen to this on loop, daily, thanks for it.

It's that feeling of being a kid and the aesthetics and the music hit just right to really make your mind wonder.
Bro this was sick. Brought back so many memories, thank you
This is still one of my favorite games ever. The music is so distinct and memorable. Thank you for taking me back 30 years!
❤
What a great idea! I fall asleep every night listening to old videogame music... This is very helpful...thank you!
I remember when a friend in 6th grade class introduced me to Secret of Mana & it captivated me like Magic.
I helped my mom pick this game out for my older brother's xmas present one year, and we played it together for hours.

My favorite SNES game, period.
I was 5, when my father bought this game for his snes... Damn.
For ' his ' snes 😉😂

to be fair, the remake is not that good. lost a lot of its charm in my opinion, the original game has way more soul

There were sequels... play those.
Grandia on the Dreamcast will make you happy too
I love pure land. I'm gonna find it.
Actually the whole game secret of mana is soothing. Itś like warm milk with honey for my belly just before sleep.
Recepee please
@@AerowynTyr Warm milk, just not cooked, big spoon of honey and this music on the background :P nighty night :)
I am yet to find a game with a better soundtrack than this one
Final Fantasy VI, Illusion of Gaia, Chrono Trigger are some noble mentions Any previous Final Fantasy to VI is also noble.
@@vipmember3315 I'll check them out
Estou jogando o SEIKEN DESENTSU 2 (Trials of Mana) e as músicas são melhores ainda! Que jornada incrível, mas ainda estou só com 2-3 horas de jogo :(
who's the composer?
it's hiroki kikuta (菊田 裕樹)
