We have just bought an ancient olive tree to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Thanks very much for the video and sharing your experience and tips. 👍🏻

As soon as i see olive tree i immediately think about Greece, vacation, sun, sea...😍 all the good vibes.
Have you tried to propagate those cuttings, i heard it's actually really easy to do it and success rate is high.

Yes! Olives always bring a sense of the Mediterranean 💚 I have tried to propagate clippings but they got too dry in the summer, I will be doing some more this autumn 🍂

Where are your planters from? I have 2 200 year old olive trees that I need to put in barrels like those but confused about the size :)

Hi, my barrel is 1m in diameter and 50cm deep, I ordered it online and the company cut the bottom out for me. Hope this helps.

Hey thank you for your video, it was very helpful! I have just bought an olive tree too. Was wondering how wide your whiskey barrel is as it looks bigger than normal? And would it be safe for the plant to paint the barrel? Thanks!

Hi there, the barrel is approx 1m wide, I don’t think paint would harm the tree 🌳

Hilarious.. In Slovakia today in the mountains I saw an olive tree for sale.. 🤔 Will it survive in this environment I'll TH-cam an answer... First video.. Olive tree from Oundle.. Many of my youthful years in Kettering. 😂
