Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) occurs naturally in rainwater and acts as a natural cleaning agent. It oxygenates soil and water bodies, is completely non-toxic and safe to use around food, people and animals.
Hydrogen peroxide will help in the fight against fungal diseases, wisus and mold on vegetables.
If you notice brown spots, mold growth, withering, dying despite watering, use hydrogen peroxide diluted with water. Pathogenic spores can be found both on the plant and in the soil. Hydrogen peroxide can also decontaminate the soil by removing pathogens from it. Well-known as an ingredient in disinfectant products, hydrogen peroxide is now also approved for microbial pest control on organic crops. This active ingredient prevents and fights bacteria and fungi that cause serious plant diseases. If you want to decontaminate the soil, use 3% hydrogen peroxide diluted in water half and half, i.e. the same amount of water for the same amount of hydrogen peroxide. Do not pour it on the leaves of plants because it is too strong and the plants will burn. If you want to decontaminate plants and get rid of insects, use hydrogen peroxide and water in a ratio of 1:4, i.e. 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 4 parts water. This spray also repels ants and insects. Hydrogen peroxide also affects the growth of plants. Poured into the soil, it helps the roots to take up more nutrients from the soil and also prevents them from rotting.
If the plants are already growing in the soil and are sick, the soil can be watered with a solution in proportions of 1:20. After decomposition of hydrogen peroxide, water and oxygen remain in the soil, which helps the plant to grow faster. You can use hydrogen peroxide alone to disinfect pots, containers or tools. If you apply a higher concentration of hydrogen peroxide on the leaves of the plant, you risk burning them. You can burn the roots, but since it is necessary to kill the bacteria that cause root rot, it is a risk worth taking.
Pouring a solution of water and hydrogen peroxide on the bed will help to break down the not fully decomposed compost faster, which can contribute to the death of plants and the formation of pathogens in the soil. We use the hydrogen peroxide solution in the soil only when the plant is sick, because in addition to pathogens, it also destroys good bacteria. However, with this solution, the good bacteria will regenerate and the bad bacteria will be eliminated. It is an organic way to heal plants, but like everything else, use it sparingly and when needed.Preventively, we can spray in the proportion of 5 ml of hydrogen peroxide per 200 ml of water once every 2 weeks.
In hydrogen peroxide, we can also disinfect sick seeds before sowing in a 1:4 solution, 4 hours before sowing.

Podlałem arbuza 3 łyżeczki 12% na 5 l wody deszczowej i spaliło wszystkie kwiaty i jeden wiekszy owoc odpadł oraz pare liści spaliło. Na ogórki te stezenie nie zauwazylem aby pomogło, moze dlatego że nie była woda destylowana hmm
