Shoes can have 1 Carbon plate and Stack height under 40mm, Higher Stack can also enhance Performance, thats why they have Rules. Doesnt Matter anyway because These Rules are only for elites
For elite racing events (elite runners only), they will not let you race on race day if your wearing illegal running shoes. They will tell you to swap to a different shoe, if not, they will escort you out. Depending on the club/event some may have a zero tolerance policy. Meaning you not only get escorted out but your membership could be suspended.
You can still race in them but if you are looking to win prize money or u are one of the few elite runs then you can’t. They would technically not count towards any world records. So for runners like you and me use them to your heart’s content!
I think they just made running shoes, and if you just happens to use it, it's deemed illegal, it's not like they want to make a shoe for you to race in and break the rules at the same time.
Why is there a rule against certain types of shoes? It’s not like, it’s exclusive for only a few runners. Everyone has access to it and it doesn’t change the runners biology at all.
Results in a more sepsonsive shoe. Though, it only applies for race day, and all of these shoes mentioned are trying shoes, not meant for racing. So, they aren't illegal for there purpose.
Only banned for elites. Casual runners can wear whatever they like.
Not true. Rules of competition. Will you get caught no. Would a complaint be upheld and a DQ given is someone raises it - yes

Only matters if you're an elite 😂
…and the companies aren’t ‘ignoring the rules and making them anyway’ they’re a great training tool.
Facts!!
Unless you are an elite runner, no race is going to disqualify any runner wearing any of these shoes.
But if they come after you, just run
😭👌 Such an underrated comment
OH NO!!! CALL THE RUNNING POLICE!!! 🚨🚨🚨🚔🚔🚔
Its only illegal for pros, if you an Amateur runner, Nonne will care
I doubt any high school xc or track team will care 😂

Running with a high stack height shoe: ILLEGAL
Running with a performance enhancing carbon plate: Perfectly legal

Waiting on 100 mm stack height.
Sc trainers are awesome on the legs specially for the long runs
The prime X is just fun. I love mine
The only true illegal shoes that never saw production were the Nike Viperflys for 100m.
Love my Prime X Strung!!
Have the Prime X and Superblast and wouldn’t use either for a marathon. Many better faster, lighter options.
I have the prime X . I'm not an elite runner just an old man who still runs 200+ miles a month. 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
You wont be kick out of any race for use those, but if you get podium then that will be an invalid result
Illegal running shoes are fine no matter if its a public or elite racing events. You’re just booted out from the podium.

Yes Karen you can wear these on your treadmill
They’re only banned for elites

@@macewindex564 yeah only the sample size has to be under 40mm. But obviously the other sizes must be proportionally bigger
