  • Robin Williams - famous actor and comedian. I grew up watching his movies (Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, What Dreams May Come...). He had amazing and interesting eyes - kind, childlike and very sad at the same time.

To make a head I first create a wooden core (which is inside the head) and then I use shredded paper mixed with water, water-based glue and starch powder to form a basic skull / basic shape of a head. The shredded paper is cheap and light, and when squeezed well, it can be very solid and firm. That’s why I use it to form a base. Once this base is completely dry and rock-hard, I sculpt the face features using an air-drying sculpting clay (I used Holzmaché, but it is no longer available, so I started using La Doll).
