15 Foods That Will Become Impossible To Find In The Coming Months

- It's no secret that global food supply chains can suddenly break and leave consumers worldwide scrambling with shortages. Now, we're being told to get used to seeing fewer options on store shelves as climate change, geopolitical conflicts, production challenges impact some of the biggest food makers out there. According to the Wall Street Journal, large grocery stores have reduced fresh-food offerings such as fruit, dairy products, and deli meats by 15% to 20% this year. On top of that, Coca-Cola, Oreo-maker Mondelez, Nestle, and Dove parent Unilever are among the packaged goods makers that have trimmed their product lines to cut costs in 2024.
Meanwhile, many grocery essentials are getting more expensive, too. Overall, food prices already increased by 9.9 percent, faster than any year since 1979, the USDA reports. To help you navigate this environment of tighter supplies and rising costs, today, we compiled 15 products that are likely to go out of stock in the months ahead. Without further ado, let's check out this list.
Just in America alone, there are approximately 769,000 beef growers, 24,000 dairies, 67,000 pig farms, 168,000 chicken farms, and 4,500 fish farms. This doesn't include the tens of thousands of farms. America produces far more food than it can use and there is no reason whatsoever for food inflation in America. The reason there are shortages and inflation, is that our food is being sold to foreign markets. We are betrayed.
Free market sells to the highest bidders/buyers

Greed. The wealthy are laughing all the way to the bank.
And let's not forget how the global economy plays into all of this. Economic instability, inflation, and market fluctuations can further complicate matters and add to people's financial worries.
No doubt being financially free and not having to worry much about food, health care and other expenses cannot be overemphasized, making smart plans and setting up diversified investment portfolios is quite essential.
the problem is that you don't have the knowledge needed to succeed in a challenging market. Only highly qualified professionals who had to experience the 2008 financial crisis could hope to earn a high salary in these challenging conditions.
It's crucial for individuals to diversify their portfolios, seek professional financial advice, and stay informed about market trends to navigate these challenges effectively.
You need to get a financial planner or expert on investments to aid diversify your portfolio to commodities index funds, digital assets etc, to provide illumination and guidance in the financial markets.
Good point.. the economy has been crazy lately, a few surprises here and there.. with all the global happenings taking place I think it’s safe to say that a severe global recession is looming..

My town has a garden swap fb page where we swapped seed and sprouts and will also be swapping harvests. I alone have 2 varieties of tomatoes, 2 varieties of snack pepper, 3 of bell pepper as well as banana peppers, jalapeños, green beans, and grapes all set to produce this year lol last year I produced enough in my little garden to supply like 10 people with fresh veg
1. Avocado Oil 2. Almond Milk 3. Canned Tuna 4. Coffee 5. Tomatoes 6. Spices 7. Dairy Products 8. Fresh Produce 9. Rice 10. Corn 11. Peanut Butter 12. Yeast 13. Sriracha 14. Crab Meat 15. fruit Stripe Gum 14 out of these 15 items I either don't care about or are covered. The only thing that I care about on this list is cheese. My primary source of calcium. I pick up eggs when I can only when they're on special. I live in a major produce growing area so I'm not worried about fresh produce just the prices I have to pay for it. Significant price increases in both fresh produce and cheese. We have a farmer's market every Saturday. Might be worth my while to cultivate relationships with these farmers.
I'm glad you summarized this so I don't have to listen to Dr. Doom
& since they've ruined the US dollar~ hope your farm co op. Take digital... 😑
🤮 always hated eggs as well, haven’t eaten them since the early 1980’s
Your brain needs 2 eggs or equivalent daily to run ok.
Spices concern me greatly. I understand most people do not cook but spices were highly valued in the past. Their value for taste and variable nutrients should not be overlooked.
Here in the Philippines, the drought is hurting the sugar cane and rice fields. Higher rice prices hurt the poor as it's a main nutrition source. "Rice is life" is a way of life here, not just a slogan.
It's really a troubling time now isn't it.
Rice is moldy is eaten after more than 12hours post cooking

You state here that Drought and climate change is why farmers are having trouble growing food but then advise people to grow their own food. Lol

Make sure you buy seeds for fruits and vegetables 🥕 because when things get tough your going to want to plant seeds for fruits 🍉 and vegetables 🥦, and you can’t depend on the government in an emergency
You can't trust they will leave your harvest alone either.

If you are willing to buy Hot Dogs made of Pork and beef - they are cheaper than pure beef ones and taste fine too. A hot dog is nothing more than a sausage and most sausage has pork in it. On sale you can get the things you need to make your own pizza for far less that the Pizza Parlor is charging for one. Pasta is always cheap - and there is NO SHORTAGE in the USA of Tomatoes - that is a European problem.

I think our Government should give out a $2,000 stimulus check to seniors adults and to the kids instead of helping out other countries.
The “GOVERNMENT” is unlawfully misrepresenting itself as a country/nation, so considering that and that each individual is from another nation state. (ie: European.) the U.S human trafficking corporation is surviving off blood sacrifices and genocide.
Nope 👎 the government is broke, they gave themselves pay raises. While I hope all have food the government is not the answer. We are already 35 trillion in debt
Some are already getting a child credit check monthly per kid 3500 . I think seniors and veterans should be getting stimulus checks

Actuallly an informed consumer with some basic knowledge of the market they are in have LOTS of choices - right now PORK is cheap in most areas. Even Chicken - while more expensive than it was before the Pandemic - goes on sale regularly and you can get lots of good deals if you read the circulars and plan ahead. Recently my local Food market had BAY BACK RIBS on special for $1 a pounds for up to four pounds that is as cheap as it gets. Yes - you cannot get what you want all the time but be versatile and you can do quite well.

Saying "inflation has gone down" is misleading. The *rate* of inflation on some things might have gone down, but it's all still getting more expensive! When was the last time you saw something on store shelves actually become less expensive?
Good lord, little can of potato chips 60 cents 45 days ago, now $1.75. No one can afford these heights. Besides that you less chips in the can! Food is available if you got the money to buy it. Feed the world but forget our town country.
