Thank you! I was probably using an 11-56 in this one. Was tuned to drop A tho, used Logic's stock whammy pedal to get it all the way down to this tuning
That tone is massive dude! How did you utilize your HM2? I've been chasing a cleaner more djent take on the swede death pedal but your tone sounds like its mostly Will Putney's amp sim, which is great btw. Did you run the HM2 into the interface or blend the two?
Thanks so much man! I actually did not use my actual HM-2 pedal here. I was using a HM-2 plugin by a company called Audiority. It's sick man, you can honestly get pretty close results, check out the shootouts on TH-cam. It's also dirt cheap, like 20 bucks or something. It also has 4 different versions of HM-2s like the Japanese-made one and some others. They're all pretty different.
Basically, my main tone was derived from the After The Burial - Evergreen album preset on the STL amp sim. Not a fan of how bassy it is so I tweaked a bunch of settings to make it tighter and cut through better etc. I just wanted to give it that slight buzzsaw character so most of the knobs on the HM-2 plugin were like only at 9 'o clock. So yeah I'm playing straight to my interface, 100% plugins haha.
What tuning is this in dude? Amazing cover too btw! This is my favourite track on the whole record, tied with Slave to the Name
Another great song! This one’s in Drop F# if I remember correctly. It’s not just 1 tuning throughout the whole album tho. Learnt Babylon and it’s in Drop E, I believe. Thanks for watching!

Nah man, it’s brandless hahaha. It’s a custom-made guitar which I bought 2nd hand. I believe it was made to look like a Mayones Duvell actually according to the previous owner.
