I love Black Orchid feminine or not, it's a beautiful scent 😁 and you know what once I accidentally worn Good Girl Gone Bad (thought it was Black Phantom and just sprayed) and tottally rocked it man. Ganymede has the same effect on me it's somehow became my dumb reach since I got it 😁
That Desirtoxic has that cigaweed note that makes you feel comfy and smooth. Very captivating scent. Great video as usual good sir! 💪🏾

Nice choices, Justin! I know my top 10 would change frequently. I was surprised not to see a Zaharoff or an Argos fragrance in the list, but I imagine they could just as easily be in there. After watching, you inspired me to apply Amouage Overture, and what a rich, dense, beast-mode fragrance that one is! Totally transports me to Oman.

Hey Justin! Just a little tip: Maybe try angling your light around 30-45 degrees from your face. Your current light setup is casting too much shadow on the center of your face and washed out too much the side of head. Try the rembrandt style of lighting or at least angling your light as I suggested. Cheers man!
I haven't tried Halfeti Cedar, I tried Halfeti Leather and it's amazing to me! That's hard to find too, other from Penhaligon's themselves! That price is $265!

I have half of this list in decants because you've been recommending them for so long and you are absolutely right, all of these are incredible scents. Specifically, Overture Man is incredible. I find it so easy to wear and it's in my daily rotation for the Winter. Thank you for recommending all these years.

Video idea: do a video on what notes you gravitate towards & maybe implement some stories on how you discovered those notes.
Ex: You love floral notes, you can talk about how you came to love them. What was the fragrance that made you love those notes? How does that note represent you personally?

Unfortunately( because it used to be my favorite) but Dior Sauvage is “that fragrance “ that I regret wearing every time I decide to put it on…
STH is epic...sweet wood, boozy, almost a carmel and vanilla sweetness. Its so subtle and masculine. Signature scent worthy and so complex.

Straight to Heaven has been my nr1 scent for many years and I only would wear it on special occassions. Unfortualy my bottle has given me it's last drop a while ago. Now it is above my budget. Hopefully/ maybe someday in the future I'm able to add a bottle again to my collection.
I hope you can get another bottle soon!

Great list and video mate..have few from the list and few on my shopping list...
Overture Man...that stuff simply cannot be in the heat. One spray and I went to a birthday party, it was quite warm in that room and this unleashed itself everywhere 🤣 Leave it in the cold...and it unleashes like Wagner, it's at its best there, untamable, hence the suit. Many complain about the opening, but to me...this has to be the best complex opening I've ever smelled. This is something you smell once and you never forget, even writing about it my mind reproduces its smell memory. I love it, but please sample this, it might not be for you. Ganymede...you either like saffron or you don't, it's that simple and it reminds me of Bentley for Men, they don't smell the same by any means...but I get the same vibes with Ganymede being classier. Thanks Justin for yet another great video.
I agree, only the cold for me too when it comes to Overture.
I wanted to like Ganymede but I just can't stand that "curry" note. I like the paperish (book magazine ) mineral or metallic part just not the curry with orange. IF The curry accord wasn't so present I'd probably like it.
Nice job man. I like it. 😄 One of my favorites is a MFK Gentle fluidity silver. To me it smells like a Creed Adventus's big brother that is a CEO in a big company. I don't know why, but it reminds me of a better version of Aventus. 😄
Wore that couple of time this past summer but it wasn’t anything special, this why I know not to believe the hype, might revisit it again next summer

Many Thanks Justin, I tried Russian Tea after watching one of your earlier videos and it’s weird but wonderful. and it’s in my best list. My all time favorite is French Lover; it’s like you say, something about it just moves me. DesirToxic and Halfeti Cedar are next up for samples to try.

Hit everything besides the Le Labo, the Masque Milano, and the Kilian. Definitely didn't expect the Kilian at 1. The rest maybe I could've figured out if I really tried.
I can generate 10 quickly as well. Lock-ins: Royal Crown "Sultan" (balsamic vanilla), BDK "Gris Charnel Extrait" (aromatic fig), Initio "Blessed Baraka" (musky cherry-amber), Atelier des Ors "Lune Feline Extrait" (cardamom vanilla), Nishane "Ani" (greener-spicier vanilla), Xerjoff "Alexandria II" (powdery oud), Nishane "Tero" (caramel-patchouli). The last 3 I probably have to think about, because a lot of my different/unique-smelling stuff isn't exactly "best smelling". I'll say Kilian's "Apple Brandy on the Rocks" as 8 - performance is horrendous, but smell wise it's top. Creed's "Royal Oud" at 9 - again, performance is poor, scent is great. 10... idk. Perhaps Kilian's "Intoxicated". 10th is the hardest one I'd say.
You have to try also the other ones of Marc-Antoinne Barois, especially B683 extrait and Encelade

I got a sample of Overture man, not for the faint of heart, not for causal wearing, and not for the simple. Will be getting a bottle in the future, not a versatile scent in my opinion but the most visceral, animalistic & smokey fragrances I’ve ever smelled.

I got a sample of Marc Antoine Barrios Ganymede... and it unintentionally got mixed with a sample of Bentley Silverlake... about 3/4 Ganymede.. 1/4 Silverlake... and as ridiculous as this sounds... it actually smells really nice lol

I wouldn’t call it a daily use scent! Very much a special occasion fragrance. But get a sample and see for yourself

Desirtoxic is also good but its not in the same league as ganymede :)

Justin/Mystro, Question for you regarding Straight to Heaven: I have STH and it's a rather challenging fragrance for me. I get a bit of the "barn yard" animalic scent from it and I have a hard time smelling anything else. I know some reviewers rave about Ursa which is supposed to be a more potent STH. I can't stand Ursa. It's a scrubber for me. The barn yard smell is amped up and I just have to get it off me. I'm wondering if my nose is particularly sensitive to the barn yard smell (Oud?). Do you get much of the barn yard smell from STH and based on what I've said, do you think my nose is particularly cued into the oud/barn yard scent? I can tell its a quality scent and I'm hoping I'll grow into it. I'm still fairly new to frags. :) Thanks for your content. Always a pleasure to hear your thoughts.
I don't personally detect anything stinky about STH...but give it time! Since you're new, your nose is still developing!

Justin your spot on about Ganymede I've a very big collection been doing this for years got a lot of some of the best out there and I've got your list but Ganymede I've had people that know me at the Hotel I work at as the dude that always smells so nice but when I wear Ganymede I get that smelling like a G"" look from my coworkers and that Damn from the ladies but spot on list young Bruuutha 👍🏻

MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver is one of my go to. It's fresh, energizing and performs very well (I feel it even works better when there's a bit of humidity).
Cédrat Boisé from Mancera is another dumb reach. It's comforting, gets lots of compliments, performs very well and can be worn anytime.
Did you have the chance to try the original Halfeti ? Amongst the 3, it's definitely the one I prefer. I find it to be more versatile, more balanced and it has a very alluring sillage.
I visited Jovoy Paris this week, but completely forgot to try Desir Toxic. Really have to put my nose on it ;)

Fantastic! I'm working hard to find my signature fragrance. I have a few here that I love but projection isn't the best. I love Black Phantom, Tom Ford Noir Extreme, Side Effect, Our For Greatness (Great Projection), Amouage Meander, Boundless, Beach Hut Man (Amazing), etc... I just don't feel like I have that one that can turn heads, please the crowd, smell unique yet still be embraced by the masses. I want to show up and turn heads the good way, lol.
Those are great scents...even if they don't project like crazy for you. But I find all of those to be quite strong for me.
