It's hard to believe in this modern world that people are still so narrow minded or that they find it acceptable to make such comments, it's a form of bullying and we all know that bullying has zero tolerance.
Guess I was taught old school manners because I've always practiced if you can't find anything good or positive to say then don't say anything at all.
As much as I loved your original living on a narrow boat and exploring the canals lifestyle i did wonder what living in Scotland on land would bring to the channel 🤔 well!?. I started watching because I have a young nephew with autism and was interested in Colin's journey. The photography and life on the canal hooked me. In the UK, Free speech is a right. However, in the UK, you are also responsible for what you say. So you can say it, but you can be, as noted, not just sued arrested and charged too. There is no anonymity on the internet as far as the Police are concerned. They can trace you and once posted, after 24 hours, it is permanent as things like Wayback and screenshots mean it is never going to go away. Trolls by and large are people who failed in life and are compensating by hitting at targets that can't hit back. Good Luck to the Silver Foxes.

We've been using some of techniques mentioned in your video... but didn't know that blocked users still see their own comments. Every parent reaches the stage where they think: "What if my child(ren) is/are gay?
I concluded that I hoped my children formed a stable loving relationship and that it would matter not one jot whether it was straight, gay, bi, trans or any other combination. What matters is the quality of the relationship.

My belief is that if any two humans are crazy enough to devote their lives to each other, then they should go right ahead and do so and it's absolutely nobody else's business. When you put our whole life ( or a part of it ) on line for everyone to see, you are bound to find haters. It's amazing that in today's world your percentage is so very low. I found the comment that you will loose subscribers because you are no longer on the canal or gain subscribers because you are in Scotland. I like it both when you are on the canal and also I like it now that you are on land in Scotland. I found this video difficult to watch when you divulged the messages you had received. No one has the right to make these comments to another person, and I cant understand why people feel the need to do that. If they don't like the channel they should just jog on !!
Some people in life aren’t happy unless they miserable and doing their best to make other people feel stressed its their power kick. I use to respond to these haters and rationalise with them but one commonality they all seem to have is that they illogical when confronted by a contrary opinion.

Great video! - There should be absolutely NO room for hate on TH-cam and I completely agree with you, that there should be a zero tolerance approach - although sadly it will always continue in some form; people feel 'hidden' behind their keyboards and computer screens.
