People say anything, and get up-voted. Wizzy is a great player, but he was never “arguably” a top ten player. On the 2019 Fall PGR he was ranked 22 and was previously ranked 31. Kameme, Shuton, Tea, Proto, Ken, Kuro, Wadi and Lea all had better results consistently prior to the pandemic. Wizzy’s results weren’t anywhere near top ten. Just say you want him to do better. You don’t need to fluff everything.

It is crazy how Wizzy's neutral game is literally what you want neutral to be, you and your opponent not doing anything, while you try and condition them to do something so you can grab and hold onto advantage state. He played against Sephiroth so well, especially because Mario is a very in your face character, whereas Sephiroth is very I'm going to space you out with forward and back air and use side b to condition you to shield and make it so you have to run away. Mario has, imo, one of the best advantage states in the game, i'd say top 3. He was able to pace the game so well in his favour and just perfectly short hop fast fall back air the shield and short hop down air to catch Tweek jumping. And the fireballs off the ledge were so good because not only do they serve as an edgeguarding tool, but they also serve as a shield conditioning tool that he even uses with the B reverse fireballs in Neutral to put Tweek in a state where he has to shield so he can either shield pressure, grab, or just see what he does after. Overall, amazing set, can't wait to see how high Wizzy can get ranked PGR (also fuck you I know I am late to this)
Tweek needs to stop doubting his mains. This is why he kept getting random losses pre-covid. He would grind and put a ton of time into a character and then switch off of them whenever he lost a game even if it was super close. His diddy went last hit and was in the lead the entire game 1. He shouldnt have doubted his diddy. He needs to be more confident in his match up choices. I mean, not that his sephiroth did poorly, but this mentality of him always switching off his character is what partially led him to have such a bad mentality and constantly lose random sets. He needs to have more confidence in his own skill that he can bring it back with the character he has chosen for the match up.
I agree. Like the constant switching is what costs him sometimes. It's like he's adding extra work mentally. Not only is it lack of confidence but having to switch playstyles on a whim in a set is draining.

Looks like Mario does way better in this matchup then Luigi does. Mario still has the stubby plumber range but he has the tools and options to deal with Sephiroth fairly well. I use Luigi and this matchup is god awful for Luigi
Why did Tweek deliberately SD at 10:59 by going the wrong direction? He could have still made it back to the ledge with Octoslash from that position. Doesn't make any sense.

There’s just no one even close to the level of Nairo’s Sephiroth. His Seph is too good and too much fun to watch. Every other Seph looks like they’re playing in slow motion.
How can you compare the two when Nairos isn’t in tournament and tweeks is? You’re basing it off of what? Quick play and vs his friends like nakat and light? That’s not a tournament nor even close to be equivalent.
