I had an Atlantic Musette which I bought new in Australia back in the 1980's, I played it on the musette setting mostly for Scottish jigs and reels, it had good tone but I had trouble with strained reeds from early on, do accordions have to be played in as I played a lot or maybe I was just unlucky.

I'm not aware of accordions having to be played in. What exactly do you mean by "strained"? Reeds played very hard can break but that doesn't sound quite like what you are saying.

Love the sound of the first atlantic on full chat...
The true Hohner musette on number 2 sounds very much like my Verdi V CB...and I'm still not sure if I like it or not! Some days a lot, and some days a little!

Beautiful instruments thanks you for showing us. I would choose number 2 and number 3 after that but all of them seems to be great to me.

First Atlantic for me, although the Organola sounds interesting too.

I like small accordeons and I own 2 similar black Hohner Concerto I instruments. I like the fat deep bodies, different then most 48 bass accordeons. One is 8+8 swing tuned and the other was converted into 8+16 so dry tango tune. I am curious about the reeds used for these Concerto’s. I They sound much better then the Student models?

    El Organola, sin duda.
