You did a great job on the voiceover. Very detailed, nice recovery.

Looks unbelievable . Love the gold RK chain . I can’t wait to add it to my RGS. Btw the content came out great . I actually like narrated videos

The voiceover allows fewer distractions. You may want to consider doing more just like this one. By the way I'm doing a chain conversion on a 2017 RG. Appreciate your work.

Great video. I used to think my triumph was too old school with chain drive. I can see the advantage of a chain over belt drive. Gold chain looks great !

I'm in process of doing same... on my new 128 build... way to go!

john - Gold chain looks great! I've heard regarding chain vs. belt: chain has less losses, slight increase [over a belt] in rear wheel torque/horsepower.

Voice over was perfecto. I feel that I can actually concentrate with action being played throughout this installation process.
With the chain conversion, what front sprocket tooth and rear sprocket tooth did you go with, and how does this affect the speedo re-calibration? Do you feel the huge difference in performance from the belt to the chain drive?

voice over wasn't bad at all, mite of even been better for this video.

They make it look so easy. The gold chain is sharp. Wonder what it will look like with some miles on it. The voice over didn’t bother me at all. Great job explaining the process

What tooth sprockets did you go with

Why did you choose the chain drive ? Was it because you felt the increased power output your build will produce, that a chain is a more reliable way to go?

@@CYCLEFANATIX...in my humble opinion cushion drive will prove to be a weak link...that constant twist will eventually damage that unit what's it's rating was it designed to withstand the hp it's working against...like with handlebar bushings over time the rubber bushings went bad..so Arlen Ness offered an upgrade using polyurethane a much better alternative over the OEM rubber bushings...

Nice job John!!! How often do you need to lube the chain and adjust? Curious to get your feedback on the noise level of the chain drive vs. belt? I was excited you were going with the Zipper’s 170 kit, surprised you ended with T-Man. If you don’t mind me asking, what happened? Great video!!! Thanks for all you do for us!!!

    Brother,
Do you have the exact configuration of your Zippers Kit. What size rear sprocket did you get, tooth count....

Looks Good, I'd thought he would have replaced transmission seal as preventative maintenance wile apart,I would have as hard as You run it,just saying, those sprockets are 25x51? 2.04 ratio, stock is 2.125?

@@CYCLEFANATIX if you soften or “delay” the rebound response for a more comfy lazy ride, does it have time to adjust on a particularly bumpy road ?

Seeing that major changes are happening with silverback. Paint wise. Will you be re -- naming the bike?

Big John, you did a great voice over on your chain install. I like the looks of the gold chain. Nice contrast to the black sprocket and chain. SB's gonna need that chain!! I missed you by a couple of hours at JD's.

Liked the voice over actually!! I am surprised they went with a 530 chain vice a 520....on the Ducati's they do a 520 conversion to reduce rotating mass....the chain strength cant be that much different between the 2....and if the Ducati can use a 520 I would be shocked if a Harley cant.....but hey, it is what it is....cant wait to see it with all that grease cleaned off...LOLZ
