WWE was really great in 2022 after Wrestlemania, which gave it a lot of momentum. Even the Vince parts after Wrestlemania were really great. The Triple H stuff really only improved it
In the 5 1/2 months he ran creative, Triple H did more to improve the WWE then Vince has in more then a decade.... let's hope that the run goes on longer.
All things considered, it was a very good year in-ring for WWE, which no doubt the company would relish after its turbulent year backstage. I thought SummerSlam knocked it out of the park as the best overall show of the year. Reigns and Lesnar defied every expectation as we saw them go out there for the umpteenth time, and gave us an image we'll never forget in Cowboy Brock tipping the entire ring with the tractor. And with the Rollins-Rhodes match at Hell in a Cell, that can be filed under the shortlist of matches you show to someone to try get them into wrestling. It did all the fundamentals right and ticked off every box you need to make a good match.
@The Third most of the roster is made up of jobbers who appear to be 5 foot 4 and barely 150 pounds fully dressed. They arent having technical masterpieces like hbk, angle, hitman and benoit. They're built like the AEW roster and they do all the same shit as a result. When they start flipping in the ring, I start flipping channels.

I will never forget this past Summerslam. It was the first PPV I got to actually attend. It was so much fun. Here I am in my Summerslam T-shirt and matching cowboy hat having myself a grand ol' time. I seen that tractor get put into place as Reigns is coming down I look at that tractor bump my friends arm and I'm like "Bro, theirs a tractor I wonder what it's for" worst part was when the sun finally went down and they didn't turn the stadium lights on so we literally couldn't see. That's why you hear us yelling to turn the lights on. To me that was a nitpick though I will never forget how awesome it was.

Noticing a trend here where the Rousey match was the worst part of almost every show that featured a Rousey match. I guess you don't really think about it so much in real time, but when you line all the shows up and run each of them down like this, it's glaring.

A great show, with the compelling concept of War Games. Of course, there were some mediocre PPVs. Stay Away from the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber PPVs this year. Overall, it was a somewhat OK PPV year for WWE.
Clash was certainly the best experience for me due to being there, but both nights of WrestleMania are really close; the most sports entertained I've been from the Showcase of the Immortals in a long time!
A lot of people want to see WrestleMania come to the UK, I get it WM is the biggest event in terms of pageantry in the Pro Wrestling Industry. But what I want to see is my Favorite Show of the year come to the UK…the Royal Rumble. That would be absolutely legendary! Imagine someone like Pete Dunne or Tyler Bate winning the Rumble with a UK Crowd.

"Premium Live Events" was definitely something a marketing exec came up with...it's an awful name for the pay per views (even though they technically aren't ppv's anymore).
Extreme rulez 2021 only had one match that had a stipulation and then the next night on raw and the smackdown after had more stipulations then extreme rulz did.
In terms of the PPV quality, 2022 has been (for my money) the most consistent for WWE in a LONG time.
