Yeah it seems like the BRS is super popular because it is light and cheap. But it is less fuel efficient and I have noticed with mine that tends to leak a little gas when you attach it to the fuel canister. I have actually been considering the Jetboil Stash at 7oz just based on fuel efficiency alone. Based on on average of one 2 night trip a month with two boils a day, the Stash pays for itself in 2 years and just saves you money on fuel after. I think people get tripped up on the grams to much and initial cost of better stoves the Soto Windmaster, but fail to consider that use of fuel determines the actual long term cost of your stove. So a better stove actually saves you money in the long run unless you only infrequently backpack.
I’ve actually switched over to the Jetboil Stash recently, and I’ll be putting up a review/comparison between that one and the MSR Pocket Rocket once I’ve put some time into using it on trail.
It doesn’t leak at all with respect! It has an o ring and you need to crank it down firm on the lindall valve! If yours leaks send it back and get a new one!

The only thing I don’t like about my brs was the flame space, it’s just soooooooo tiny and took forever to cook something
Very good friend
Brs is just too weak..
Your data is inaccurate with respect!
My BRS Hornet only weighs 25 grams without the green bag!
