The “AI” in the map title is saying that the starting locations are picked using an algorithm rather than someone manually setting the starting points… it’s got nothing to do with the image looking AI generated lmao
i haven't played GeoGuessr in years, but isn't that just what regular GeoGuessr is like anyway? Random places in the world given to you, yknow, randomly?
@@kreamies6720 you get a random location out of the set of possible locations on the map you're playing, however most of the community made maps are a large set of handpicked locations, this is done to try and balance where the rounds are and avoid certain locations where there's limited street view coverage or something. If you play the official world map you'll notice some places come up way more than others (Vienna and Paris spring to mind), this is less the case on the community maps. AI generated world is using an algorithm to pick the possible locations rather than a person.
Finland is not Scandinavia btw. Its only Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Finland is part of The Nordics. If you do Scandinavia more, you can leave Denmark out of the location if there are mountains. Denmark's highest point is like 170m tall
@@adamentcondition3002 Sure there are and they aren't even a Japan only thing. There are several days long ferries that service the Alaska Marine Highway System too and I'm sure there are others in other countries as well. Fun fact about the ones in Alaska- you can pitch a tent on deck if you don't want to get an interior berth or even just throw a sleeping bag down on a reclining deck chair. Cruises are for entertainment. Ferries are for travel and typically allow vehicles. You can't bring your car on a cruise.
Loving these Geoguessr videos boiks, brings me back to a couple years ago and theyre always entertaining. Norway looks so beautiful, I need to visit sometime.
They should take some time to learn at least the alphabets of these countries before they start playing so they can at least recognize what language is being spoken
Tom and Ben livestream videos get more views on Yogscast Live than you lads these days... If you're going to phone it in - Maybe time to try something new.
Given how.... "Interesting" the lads memory of places they've been to are, i would love to see them do a cascadia selection, considering their time up there. Its also a beautiful place thats always fun to look at. Its also where I'm from and I'm a silly selfish boy.
'I didn't even know there was a little japanese island there' - the 1940s US marine experience.

5:43 Dog Vision Hornby strikes again. Literally looks at a banner with the word "Tunisie" on it.

They actually talked about how Denmark is flat earlier in the video. And then promptly forgot haha
I love the occasional "You've _been_ here!" "Oh yeah!" after guessing wrong
Well akshully, Finland is not part of Scandinavia.
Knew they'd get that wrong lol
Nor is Iceland part of Denmark (anymore)
Ross seems to have the least knowledge yet the best luck.
The Ogasawara Islands look so charming, but it's like a 24h ferry ride from Tokyo damn
Still are parts of Tokyo too.If you go to Tokyo and buy lemon KitKat(amazing btw) the lemon are from there.
Is a 24 hr ferry a thing? You would need accomodations for that long and at that point it's a cruise.

That is one cursed thumbnail
Kind of cruel of Trott and Smith to leave Ross lost in that paper bag.
Loved the 10 seconds of Trotts forehead in extreme closeup.
When Trott literally hovered his mouse over Køge several times on the map I almost lost it 👀
12:08 Sounds like a Scouser got lost in Scandinavia
Dont let any Finns hear you say their country is in Scandinavia!
Hearing them prounounce "Køge Jorddepot" made my day 😄
The way Ross says Køge jorddepot is surprisingly accurate
Did he just say Iceland was Denmark?!?!
Well, it used to be
He did, but giving him the benefit of the doubt, I think he actually meant Greenland being a Danish territory.
Norway represent

13:13 I think I can tell when Trott is lying about cheating because he gets far too specific with his logic.
Trott actually found a sweater that acts as camouflage with his background. Well done. Cheers.
It makes sense, Gouda is a Dutch cheese after all.
Travbane roughly translates to trot bane. Trott killer. (I think. Not an expert at horse speeds so I'm not sure what speed a trot is.)
i drove on the road they got at 13:25 this summer so instantly knew where it was
You are now welcome to Norway, Trott!
See you soon o7
Just looks like normal maps to me
Finland is NOT part of Scandinavia, but IS a Nordic country.
Stop making fun of my heritage! That’s my family’s farm 😂 15:40 (I’m Trond Klakken :p)
trott looks like hes a floating head
0:28 can't identify its GISS, Ross?
who watches the bird watchers
Way to go Chris Trott's forehead. Excellent win.
6:36 He did scroll past obvious signs
Oh dear they've gone for one of the hardest maps
Casually scrolling past signs that say Tunise. Nice.
I love the random cut to snow in the Scandinavia round ❄️
What snow cut?
@@rawr40k10:53 😊

Weird that you didn't get a single place in the main Scandinavian country, only the vassal states.
AI Ross isn't real... AI Ross can't hurt me! ...im scared.... 😬
Trav means trott
Greetings from Møöşėƙɲůçķlë in that Scandinavian or Nordic country.
Wowie!
They should take some time to learn at least the alphabets of these countries before they start playing so they can at least recognize what language is being spoken
let's not get overambitious here
I googled Klakken town and it didn't come up so it's probably an AI generated town
Except it was during the Scandinavian round and not the AI generated one so it is real just really obscure
Go Trott!! Whoop
AI bad
Veijen NOR, vägen SWE, tie FIN = road. Danish no one knows or understands.
2:30 says tomare (stop in Japanese), enjoy my spreading of weebery
Does liking bot comments help Hat Films in anyway?
Liking? don't think so. But replying does,me think.
Knight Terror? UFO golf? Fuckin' yikes. Sponsor money is a hell of adrug I suppose.
came home and saw this uploaded 5 seconds ago
I love being early. Thanks for the laughs!
Unfortunately it seems they have bumped up the fascism slider instead of the silly slider.
Finland is part of Scandinavia? That's about as absurd as the UK thinking its /actually/ European. Just on completely different levels.
