I laugh so hard when i see Ty-phon, vs the best decks in the game it does nothing because most of the monsters they bring out have way lower attk all you do is lock yourself out of plays if u need more special summons . Snakes eyes can get to an out before they bring out any large monster heck princess is 2700 so it can activate and yubel would love to see a 2900 monster just sitting there .Ty-phon came out way too late imo
Typhon it is like a desperate measure, if don't have any more plays just slap Typhon and hope for the best. I don't know how effective that is tho. Realistically, if you played well enough, you wouldn't be in a scenario where Typhon is needed, but if you are, how many times did it actually save the game for you?
Typhoon come more in clutch when the game is kinda close I got some game where it helped win but yeah it isn't good against yubel or sefk and both are top tier deck
@@EduardoOliveira-yr3ib if they can do that they might as well just throw an extra xyz into their deck and make 1 Zeus which will do INFINITELY more
@@sig1680 I can guarantee you those are not close games, the games you refer to are when you & your opponent brick and your oppo can only make 1 Baronne on field. ONLY then typhon seems clutch in every other scenario you lose way before typhon even comes out 😂
I can claim the same for Zeus that most of the time won't even hit the field in those situations. The card has an extremely low winrate because it can be played everywhere, most of the time not belonging in the deck. But still it's worth a slot during a tournament because it can steal games.
For example, in a tournament I summoned Cooclock, made it a Ty-phon and set 4 against a Baronne + 2x Crystal + Dis Spater + Shooting Majestic (with Assault Synchron in GY) and won a 37-minute game one that would otherwise be impossible with my Droll getting CBTG.
Allowing easy removal against Borrelend that some decks simply cannot out. Forcing Blazar (negated summon allows you to continue playing) or stopping the bs in the End Phase. Cooking Branded. Preventing Flam from both floating and outing a threat. Allowing Unchained to forcefully OTK under Nib. Taking care of Kaleido/Rulk thanks to Sulliek being limited that otherwise is a lost game going second.
The card has tons of potential in the appropriate deck. The main difference in MD compared to OCG is that Promethean power crept it out of the format and you need to bait it first, during AgOv format it was huge. Singlehandedly got me a top against Infernobles and Mannadium which were pseudo-FTKs.

@zakariaelhimer1325 how so ? Ive played both a lot and think snake-eyes follow-up is unmatched except by maybe branded, yubel is definitely annoying when they start to spam the feild buts its super easy to stop thier follow up than in snake eye
@@lamentslounge they have alternative win cons, even when you stop them they can still kill you and they are hard to finish off if they have yubels on the field, you need to dismantle their entire board and hope the dont have spirit on Attack declaration.
Maybe they are a bit worse at going second compared to Snake Eye, but the nature of the decks makes it toxic to play against, even when you are winning you really are not 2 yubels on field can fuck you up.

Probably because it's Zeus rival so everyone thought it's gonna be busted like Zeus only for it to be mediocre at best the only decks that really make use of it ar stun lol
I was scared of it being broken at first too, turns out its a "lose more" card not even good in tear because scream reduce oppos stuff by 500 atk 😂

It's more situational than people think, it's a board breaker that works on certain boards and spright or yubel board is not one of them
Spirit of the yubel should be limited to 1, why it can summon in the field infinitely without drawback? This deck is so dumb
ty-phon can be clutch lost a grind yesterday to it because it removed my mirrorjade. Looking back I could have avoided it if I banished his monster before it was special summoned so skill issue on my part i guess lol🤷🏾♂️

@@clamceglopwhl1686 sky striker was viable back on its heyday, it was on the meta alongside with thunder dragon and orcust (and maybe sum else idk). So it fulfill the "viable turn 2 deck" before tenpai
Sky striker is not a go second deck and mikanko is sh t compared to tenpai the only one i see is ancient gear because it can go first and second and make 8 interruptions going first
@@thecomedymask9089 I played Sky Striker a lot that I decided to play it 2nd. That is because that 1,500 ATK monster can't guarantee a next turn.
Sky Striker can put up disruptions on a board unlike most "going second" decks, the main reason it gets used as a blind second nowadays is to play around cards like Duster and Evenly that would cut into the backrow based disruption it relies on, but it otherwise would and does fine going first, and I've won plenty of games with more "going first" focused builds thanks to Camellia shenanigans.
There's also the fact that stealing monsters is now enough to get to engine(which is also thanks to Camellia shenanigans), and outside of certain hand traps that special summon themselves or other things there's not a lot of opportunities to steal opponent's monsters when going first outside of janky plays like Vector Blast milling a target for Shark Cannon or Autonomous Action Unit(Agido and Kelbek would have ironically helped out with this by leading to bigger 2 sided mills).
The steal heavy builds while arguably less consistent are also more popular because they play around Maxx "C" more easily and have better OTK potential, but Trap+Hand Trap builds can win just as often when played right, and are arguably better at dealing with Yubel, though I haven't had issues dealing with Yubel on ANY Sky Striker build, if anything Voiceless Voice of all things is what's making Sky Striker more annoying to play right now with all their targeting protection, even FKSE isn't as annoying to deal with since you're on a bunch of anti-GY cards like Shark Cannon and Soul Release that gimp that strategy pretty effectively.

It is better than a link 2. You can use monsters from anywhere(except banishment )to make it. Recursion + free body + follow up + disruption… really stupid

Yubel is scary.
As a yubel player they only deck that I struggle with is fire king snake and stun . I see decks like voice less voice and ancient gear Im thankful I can get a free win without all the struggles and negates
