I test my survival skills over the next 48 hours in the Australian bush to see if I have what it takes. This time around, I only bring with me a machete… NOTHING ELSE! This was by far one of the hardest videos I have ever made. Hope you guys enjoy :)

Being somebody that does this often, it’s really cool to see it done in Australia. I’ve done this in a bunch of “dangerous” areas, but Australia has always been like pro-level stuff. I can’t imagine doing this over there. Props to you. A real man.

It'd be really cool to see you do a slightly different version of this video that plays more to your strengths. For reference, Ace Videos is a fishing channel that recently did some "only eat what I catch for 3 days" videos where he uses all the equipment he wants but still ends up struggling to get enough food. If you did something similar with your spears/rods/etc and camping gear in the mangroves or on the beach, it could make for some really challenging & entertaining content. It would also be another difficult challenge you could genuinely feel pride in completing. Long time fan, love the vids!

5:27 here, ill give some advice, if you can see the shilouete of the fish pretty well, aim for under its belly because that will actaully be the direct middle of the fish, because of how water bends light.

Huh? Obviously, if you haven’t had any water and you’ve been working hard, sweating in the sun for around a day, any water will be refreshing.
In a survival situation, Water is the most important thing to have. You wouldn't have any other option than to drink your sweats or your urine.

Very impressive that you were able to do the challenge that you set for yourself. I think being from that area and familiar with the area helped some. I did a jungle survival training when I was in the military and basically, all we were given was a small bag of uncooked rice and a machete. It takes a lot to do what you did. Keep up the great videos.

i think this video needs more appreciation because although it was only 20 mins for us it was 48 hrs for him alone with no food. it looks really easy for us but its a lot tougher than it looks

Field days really finds good ways to survive and has good videos, I didn’t enjoy this dudes survival video and would never take survival tips from him. Thank you for the recommendation! I love those kinds of vids. Although, I have to say, it’s not easy surviving two days with only a machete. I’ve done it with a few more items and it’s always very difficult.

Nick i can relate without eating for 2 days once i didnt eat or drink water for 3-4 days its not fun you start to have bad pain after 2 days.And also ive walked bare foot when i was 7-11 on rocks sticks,sharp wood and EVERYTHING because i lived in a town back then the nature is absolute lovely not even a lie.Thanks for the video and experience!
