In this adventure, I survive for 3 DAYS on a remote Island in Australia with limited gear. I go spearfishing to catch my own food, explore rock pools and cook up a delicious smoked trout recipe. Thanks for watching :)

i love how respectful you are to the animals and their home.. and the shots of the animals you're getting is amazing... and now you have all this gear.. i remember when you used to put your go pro in your mouth to be able to film without using both your hands lol. love your vids

This is my favorite type of video with Nick. Just him, his survival gear, and showing his skills/ abilities and chatting with us. It’s been a while from when he did this kinda stuff all the time. (But it is dangerous to a degree so like I see why he doesn’t go out alone much anymore. Like that was a lot of sharks man.)
Edit: you can tell it’s been a bit cuz I remember when he got that smoker and used it the first time. Look how rusty it is and how he forgot a bit of how to use it haha.
Note to self: stop watching Nick's videos before eating dinner lol. Great video... absolutely beautiful. Now I'm hungry for some great fish. I wonder if Nick delivers lmao.

Nick's a good boy. A natural survivor, mature and responsible. I think he appreciates the immense conviction we should all have toward our beautiful God given environment. I'm crowding 70 years old but I can spot an outstanding individual who could carry the baton every bit as good or better than anyone I've known.

This is probably my favorite Nick Fry video of all, the comedy, the editing,the beauty of the island it just feels like a man in the timeline where dinosaurs were still around and is exploring. Ive always have been fascinated by nature esspecially the ocean, this video is just like a movie that i would watch and never get tired of
I love how beautiful this video is, despite people being thrown into the ocean. We might be able to see what nature truly looks like if people gave a damn about our world economically. I love seeing this and I wish people tried to do more

Sharks arent that scary same as most snakes. Snakes will try there hardest to get away since your larger and most probably arent even venomous. And sharks idk they just arent used to us so get startled

And sharks dont like to attack humans since we're different and they arent used to us so they stay away. They most often attack surfers or stupid people who get way to close

Good stuff man. Try smoking with the skin on. Losing alot of natural oils when taking the skin off... plus it forms a layer so the fish doesn't stick to ya grill there. 👊

They call them curbs in the Bahamas. You can eat them raw and they are pretty good, just a bit chewy.

Just keep an eye on them if they come to close give em a poke make sure to have a buddy on the surface and stay calm so it dosnt affect ur dive

Amazing vid mate! Just always remember to be super cautious with that spiritus stuff, I used it for years at lease once a week, sometimes only cooked on that for weeks straight, but even with that much experience i almost burned myself to death 2 months ago. NEVER have an open flame or even a Cigarette closer than 5 meters to you when you open a bottle. Vaporised Spiritus and a little wind can be a bitch. Being extra cautious is way more comfortable than being on fire, always remember that. :)
