I imagine for Kiara, it's more than just Ame's departure that really tears at her. She personally doesn't plan on going anywhere for a long while, so maybe she's also just scared of ending up as the one remaining member in Myth at some point, and that's enough of a scary thought, being alone, to really break down like she did. She must feel like Ame is only the beginning. I'm glad the girls really took their time to comfort her in the end there it was super sweet..
Kiara REALLY loves Myth, and Ame especially is her kamioshi, which is why I imagine this graduation in particular is so hard on her. Hololive basically saved Kiara’s career , and it really was just Myth holding the front line in the West for an entire year. Those hardships created a really strong relationship, and a legacy that feels like it should last forever. The idea that the unit would ever end is probably really difficult to wrap your head around, and Ame stepping away from regular activity made that idea concrete for her and a lot of us viewers too.
Ironically enough, only death could probably make Calli stop her activities in Hololive. But yeah, they've been around so long you forget they'll graduate some day too.
Doubt Calli is stopping anytime soon. And Gura im gonna say had a talk with Cover because she has lot of offstream stuff to do, probably one of the most demanded Vtubers out there for collabs and stuff ( Like the Dodgers collab ) so she doesnt stream as often anymore, but i believe she still likes it in Hololive so she will stay. I also dont see why Ina would leave so soon, she can still do what she loves. I believe Myth is here to stay for a long time. And specialy now that Ame left, they will become even closer i believe.

I remember when Kiara had to leave Japan for country-tisms, streamed with Calli, and was struggling to keep her composure as the stream was winding down. She has a hard time with goodbyes. It’s understandable, but...still hard to hear.
her letter to calli at the end of that stream is what made her my Oshi. she was scared returning home not knowing what awaited her, or if this whole Vtubing thing would work out. Even with all of that her first concern was about Calli, she felt like she was abandoning Calli to be alone in Japan and was worried for her.

Not a lot of Nijisanji talents expressed much remorse (despite how much Selen gave to them), so it was sad and bittersweet to see. With Ame, everyone from all branches expressed how much she will be missed (Wawa especially). Since the idol expresses feelibgs openly towards Ame leaving, the fans of the idol (such as KFP's) also feel saddened, creating a strong dynamic in the company. Yagoo truly knows how to foster a sense of belonging and purpose to bring out the best from his Vtubers. ❤😢❤
Ame seems genuinely happy about going her own way, and I'm happy for her. When you care about someone, you have to let them go grow on their own, and all you can do is support their choice while showing them all the love you can give. Good on our time-traveling detective for realizing her own goals and dreams are what should be most important.
I mean it could be a family thing. Have to remember these women are growing older and maybe are thinking about being mothers, getting married, and whatnot. It's something that's counter to the Virtual Idol grind that Cover Corp wants for the talents. I'm leaning towards this cause it would make sense that Amelia would be willing to stay involved with Cover Corp on a one off basis. Going Indie would mean she'd want to sever her Hololive ties for contractual and brand reasons. So her staying involved in a sparse limited way might mean she's leaving the scene and shifting careers, which might also be family involved.

I knew that sooner or later, Myth will slowly disband and everyone will move on with the next part of their lives, but I never expected it to be so soon, and for it to be Ame too

Kiara has this wonderful nature of being an open book. She cannot hide feelings and pretty much said what everyone else was feeling the whole time. Especially Ina and Gooba tried to hold back as much as they could but the models don't lie. You can tell how they feel.
I was worried with Gura the most because she didn’t stream since the announcement, skipped the GTA event, and only came back with a stream collab with Ame. I think she was the most affected, and can’t vocalize it well like the rest of Myth. Her silence about it was deafening. I can only imagine the sadness behind the smile of her vtuber model 😢
Gura and Ame've known each other long before Hololive. Having to say goodbye to a friend sucks. It sucks even more when it's someone who's been by your side for such a long time. Hopefully, they'll still have tons of opportunities to hang out, chat, and goof around together.

Their past lives aren't well kept secrets. And a lot of vtubers do end up streaming as their past selves again after graduation. Also, it's not like Hololive ban their current members from streaming on their alt accounts as long as they stfu on sensitive stuff. So, if you think about it, there's very little to stop Ame and Gura from collab streaming again (just not as Ame and Gura).
As sad as it is from a lore standpoint it makes sense that the "normal" human would be the one to move on first and not those who've lived centuries or are eternal.....
I don't wanna ruin the moment but of course everything will be ok. Time heals everything and humans are pretty good on getting used to stuff. Besides, after the gta streams made me realise that hololive it's not short at all of talents that you could watch and support.

I feel bad for Gura too. She said on a membership stream that management is keeping her so busy behind the scenes. She seemed kinda fed up. She would rather be streaming. She even mentioned not having a new song and she wanted to. Ame and Gura have been friends before Hololive and I believe will stay in contact. It would have been nice if they had a song. The song Ame fans made about them is perfect. Brought me to tears.
I'm gonna miss Ame, but I don't feel sad. I was always aware it wasn't gonna be forever, so I made sure to enjoy it to max and only have fond memories. Myth was a specialty team brought together, not just to start an EN branch, but to see if it could be done. I don't know everything that was going on, but over the last 4 years, I picked up information hear and there, mostly from bits and pieces that the Myth girls have said. Surprisingly, I picked up a lot from what they weren't saying. They had to do something that had never been done before, they would have to figure out what would work and what wouldn't without getting canceled. They had to do all that pretty much without help from Cover and Hololive. They weren't sure how to make an EN branch either. MYTH wouldn't have access to the Hololive studios and staff and nobody in the U.S. or Austria(lia). This generation would have to be highly skilled, highly experienced, highly motivaded and highly creative. What Myth was going to attemp wouldn't be on the same level as Robert Peary going to the North and South Poles, or Capt. James Cooke and the Pacific Islands or Neal Armstrong on the moon. However, Myth would be following in the same spirit. The talents this time would have to be different than the usual, some rules and guidelines would have to bend allowances would have to made. Even those unspoken rules implemented by the fandom. Based on all that, I fully expected Cali would be the first to move on. We have always known that our Myth girls have dreams of being an Hololive idols and they have other dreams too. We all knew they couldn't be our idols forever. Personally, I want to be able to look back on my memories of Myth with fondness. They may never share everything with us, but I have no doubt that the first year of Myth was was probably the toughest year they ever had. I have to wonder how many times we nearly lost one or all of our oshis due to stress, fustration, sleeplessness. I can easily see one of girls wanting to quit and the others helping her not quit. I want to recognize and respect the pains and sacrifices they suffered through for us and the future.
Same sentiments, I lowkey thought it's either Calli or Kiara who would be the first to drop, for different reasons. I never expected Ame to be the one going away, considering how much she contributed to the fads and vtuber culture in general, and the tech know-how experimentation back in COVID times. She has been a trendsetter for many things, and felt like a natural leader and it shows with her most recent streams... a very patient lass she is, and teaching others with care especially in the Valve games collab stream. She is a wonderful person to work with.
I saw some people complaining about Kiara's Behavior but I can totally empathize with her. Someone she loves dearly and part of the first gen of holoEn is leaving. I'm just a fan (granted Ame is my Kami Oshi) I am absolutely torn up about her departure. Imagine just how much more their feeling.
Definitely. I prefer a two week notice than an abrupt termination like the previous ones. It's like having a trip from memory lane with a friend, you plan ahead even the ending. It's melancholy, but not traumatic.
Coco, Kson's old vtuber Avatar was given a send-off very similar to this including this big get-together with everyone in the company do you wish for good luck and say goodbye Especially given her popularity and speaking English so fluently she in a way inspired the company to make English vtubers in the first place, myth was the first step but they only got here from Coco. And Ame and all of her work behind the scenes to help her friends is what makes this so heartbreaking

They are experimenting with the graduations. They probably figured it was a bit too much to just erase the possibility of a talent returning later by completely deleting their persona, so they try something else by keeping her alive and maybe inviting her in the future for concerts or big events like Chapter 2 of the Minecraft EN event.
This similar emotion when your favorite colleague left the job. You can keep hang out with each other but the time you spent with them is less, and maybe at some point you know that your path may not cross their path ever again.

Seeing Myth together like this was a huge hit of happiness and nostalgia. The final part was very heartbreaking and even more so when you hear Kiara and see Ina and Gura so quiet, and Calli trying her best to stay strong. I know we will all support Ame in the future and we will help Myth move forward, but it is inevitable to shed a few tears along the way.
Kiara not wanting it to end, and let go is soooooo relatable, that was making me tear up really hard because i know sooooooo well what that feels like.

I imagine for Kiara, it's more than just Ame's departure that really tears at her. She personally doesn't plan on going anywhere for a long while, so maybe she's also just scared of ending up as the one remaining member in Myth at some point, and that's enough of a scary thought, being alone, to really break down like she did. She must feel like Ame is only the beginning. I'm glad the girls really took their time to comfort her in the end there it was super sweet..
Kiara REALLY loves Myth, and Ame especially is her kamioshi, which is why I imagine this graduation in particular is so hard on her.
Hololive basically saved Kiara’s career , and it really was just Myth holding the front line in the West for an entire year. Those hardships created a really strong relationship, and a legacy that feels like it should last forever. The idea that the unit would ever end is probably really difficult to wrap your head around, and Ame stepping away from regular activity made that idea concrete for her and a lot of us viewers too.
Ironically enough, only death could probably make Calli stop her activities in Hololive.
But yeah, they've been around so long you forget they'll graduate some day too.
Doubt Calli is stopping anytime soon. And Gura im gonna say had a talk with Cover because she has lot of offstream stuff to do, probably one of the most demanded Vtubers out there for collabs and stuff ( Like the Dodgers collab ) so she doesnt stream as often anymore, but i believe she still likes it in Hololive so she will stay. I also dont see why Ina would leave so soon, she can still do what she loves. I believe Myth is here to stay for a long time. And specialy now that Ame left, they will become even closer i believe.

Facts. While watching Ame's farewell, I compared it to Selen's termination. Not a lot of Nijisanji talents expressed much remorse (despite how much Selen gave to them), so it was sad and bittersweet to see.
With Ame, everyone from all branches expressed how much she will be missed (Wawa especially). Since the idol expresses feelibgs openly towards Ame leaving, the fans of the idol (such as KFP's) also feel saddened, creating a strong dynamic in the company.
Yagoo truly knows how to foster a sense of belonging and purpose to bring out the best from his Vtubers. ❤😢❤
Ame seems genuinely happy about going her own way, and I'm happy for her. When you care about someone, you have to let them go grow on their own, and all you can do is support their choice while showing them all the love you can give. I mean it could be a family thing. Have to remember these women are growing older and maybe are thinking about being mothers, getting married, and whatnot. It's something that's counter to the Virtual Idol grind that Cover Corp wants for the talents.
I'm leaning towards this cause it would make sense that Amelia would be willing to stay involved with Cover Corp on a one off basis. Going Indie would mean she'd want to sever her Hololive ties for contractual and brand reasons. So her staying involved in a sparse limited way might mean she's leaving the scene and shifting careers, which might also be family involved.

Kiara has this wonderful nature of being an open book. She cannot hide feelings and pretty much said what everyone else was feeling the whole time. Especially Ina and Gooba tried to hold back as much as they could but the models don't lie. You can tell how they feel.

I was worried with Gura the most because she didn’t stream since the announcement, skipped the GTA event, and only came back with a stream collab with Ame.
I think she was the most affected, and can’t vocalize it well like the rest of Myth. Her silence about it was deafening. I can only imagine the sadness behind the smile of her vtuber model 😢

Gura and Ame've known each other long before Hololive. Having to say goodbye to a friend sucks. It sucks even more when it's someone who's been by your side for such a long time. Hopefully, they'll still have tons of opportunities to hang out, chat, and goof around together.

@@hisaceinthehole3426 Both Ame and Gura mentioned having met each other long before ever joining Hololive, and Ame mentioned they were friends for a long time. Don't think they started off as real-life friends, but they definitely met online when Ame and Gura were both still twitch streamers.
Their past lives aren't well kept secrets. And a lot of vtubers do end up streaming as their past selves again after graduation. Also, it's not like Hololive ban their current members from streaming on their alt accounts as long as they stfu on sensitive stuff. So, if you think about it, there's very little to stop Ame and Gura from collab streaming again (just not as Ame and Gura).
As sad as it is from a lore standpoint it makes sense that the "normal" human would be the one to move on first and not those who've lived centuries or are eternal.....

I feel bad for Gura too. She said on a membership stream that management is keeping her so busy behind the scenes. She seemed kinda fed up. She would rather be streaming. She even mentioned not having a new song and she wanted to. Ame and Gura have been friends before Hololive and I believe will stay in contact. It would have been nice if they had a song. I'm gonna miss Ame, but I don't feel sad. I was always aware it wasn't gonna be forever, so I made sure to enjoy it to max and only have fond memories. Myth was a specialty team brought together, not just to start an EN branch, but to see if it could be done. I don't know everything that was going on, but over the last 4 years, I picked up information hear and there, mostly from bits and pieces that the Myth girls have said. Surprisingly, I picked up a lot from what they weren't saying. They had to do something that had never been done before, they would have to figure out what would work and what wouldn't without getting canceled. They had to do all that pretty much without help from Cover and Hololive. They weren't sure how to make an EN branch either. MYTH wouldn't have access to the Hololive studios and staff and nobody in the U.S. or Austria(lia). This generation would have to be highly skilled, highly experienced, highly motivaded and highly creative. What Myth was going to attemp wouldn't be on the same level as Robert Peary going to the North and South Poles, or Capt. James Cooke and the Pacific Islands or Neal Armstrong on the moon. However, Myth would be following in the same spirit. The talents this time would have to be different than the usual, some rules and guidelines would have to bend allowances would have to made. Even those unspoken rules implemented by the fandom. Based on all that, I fully expected Cali would be the first to move on. We have always known that our Myth girls have dreams of being an Hololive idols and they have other dreams too. We all knew they couldn't be our idols forever. Personally, I want to be able to look back on my memories of Myth with fondness. They may never share everything with us, but I have no doubt that the first year of Myth was was probably the toughest year they ever had. I have to wonder how many times we nearly lost one or all of our oshis due to stress, fustration, sleeplessness. I can easily see one of girls wanting to quit and the others helping her not quit. I want to recognize and respect the pains and sacrifices they suffered through for us and the future.
Same sentiments, I lowkey thought it's either Calli or Kiara who would be the first to drop, for different reasons.
I never expected Ame to be the one going away, considering how much she contributed to the fads and vtuber culture in general, and the tech know-how experimentation back in COVID times. She has been a trendsetter for many things, and felt like a natural leader and it shows with her most recent streams... a very patient lass she is, and teaching others with care especially in the Valve games collab stream.
She is a wonderful person to work with.
I saw some people complaining about Kiara's Behavior but I can totally empathize with her. Someone she loves dearly and part of the first gen of holoEn is leaving. I'm just a fan (granted Ame is my Kami Oshi) I am absolutely torn up about her departure. Imagine just how much more their feeling.

Definitely. I prefer a two week notice than an abrupt termination like the previous ones. It's like having a trip from memory lane with a friend, you plan ahead even the ending. It's melancholy, but not traumatic.

Especially given her popularity and speaking English so fluently she in a way inspired the company to make English vtubers in the first place, myth was the first step but they only got here from Coco. And Ame and all of her work behind the scenes to help her friends is what makes this so heartbreaking

They are experimenting with the graduations. They probably figured it was a bit too much to just erase the possibility of a talent returning later by completely deleting their persona, so they try something else by keeping her alive and maybe inviting her in the future for concerts or big events like Chapter 2 of the Minecraft EN event.
This similar emotion when your favorite colleague left the job. You can keep hang out with each other but the time you spent with them is less, and maybe at some point you know that your path may not cross their path ever again.

Seeing Myth together like this was a huge hit of happiness and nostalgia. The final part was very heartbreaking and even more so when you hear Kiara and see Ina and Gura so quiet, and Calli trying her best to stay strong. I know we will all support Ame in the future and we will help Myth move forward, but it is inevitable to shed a few tears along the way.
