I think they are doing that on purpose. No need to risk injury on a straightaway jump that leads to the finish line. If there was a line after the jump to another corner, I could see the skiers going for it. Just my opinion.

SONO ITALIANO,HO PROVATO A SCRIVERE IN INGLESE MA NON REIESCO BENE,RIPETO VELOCEMENTE. Niente salti,curve disegnate facili non ho mai visto kizz tracciata così male, niente salto all'hausderkante,la traversa non è mossa e tracciata male,BORMIO è sta una gran pista,il non salto del traguardo è imbarazzante. Purtroppo kizz è un po' di anni che è rimasta indietro,e come MONTECARLO PER LA F1. Non vai per la gara,vai per la gente famosa. Ora mai le discese più difficili e belle sono,GARMISCH,BORMIO,WENGEN E BEAVER.
That last traverse (beginning about the 1m40s mark) is unusually smooth; that ysed to have two or three rollers that unbalanced a percentage of racers, in past years. Just observing...🎉🎉🎉

Are they lowering the bar at Kitzbuhel? Where did Zielsprung go? It was like the 'right of passage'. Wonder how the racers and the veterans feel about that
Salti zero,la traversa dopo l' hausber zero,il ziel salto zero! Kizbhuel la grande discesa che valeva come un oro olimpico,ora come difficoltà,salti, lunghezza è fuori dal podio delle discese vere. Bormio,Garmisch,Wengen e dopo Kiz.
Well. 2 of the best skiers are out this season, so I think they would like to have the rest of the field not breaking their knee or legs. Kilde, Pinturault, Schwartz are out. So the FIS probably play it safe. It is still really hard imo. The last part easier but after almost 2 min of sheer craziness, I don’t think the racers will complain. What an amazing downhill though… Kitz is really the most incredible, Wengen comes in close 2nd, Bormio 3rd (just an opinion of course).

Please u9load in 60 FPS. 25VFPS is way to low for sport like this.
Zielsprung is almost non-existent this year. Most of the other jumps look muted also.

The last leg of the run looks very slow for a down hill race.

I noticed that too. The racers has some dangerous moments a few years back trying to negotiate it.

Loved the camera run I really felt the race and can imagine how my legs would be on fire. They really load up on the leg trying to tire em out 😮
