Thanks for running through the app. I was hoping I could change the amperage pulling from the car dc outlet and this proved that I can! Will definitely be looking at buying a delta series soon.
We have been trying for 2 hours to connect our ecoflow river mini to the app. Still trying now....really frustrating. Why don't any tutorials cover this troubleshooting issue.
Hi, i have a powerstream, delta 2 max, extea battery and 1.2kw of solar. The automations available seem to be very basic with only single condition triggers. I want to know if its possible to automate my delta 2 max to only ac charge if the weather forcast is cloudy and to only charge between 01:30 and 07:00am. Any idea if this is possible?
What extra battery did you have attached, was it generic battery or another ecoflow. I was wondering if you can get the stats of the secondary battery without it being ecoflow??
It would be an EcoFlow. I believe the cable between the Delta and the expansion battery carries this info. It wouldn't be available for any other battery.
On the apple app store there are images of daily usage graphs and other dashboards. Do these exist? I can’t find them myself. I was also under the impression there is a setting allowing you to set charge times. I think an integration with a cause and effect app like ‘this then that’ would open up so many more possibilities!
G'day! Thank you for such a great tutorial on using the app. One thing I cannot discern from the literature that came with my unit (Delta 2 Max and "Smart" extra Battery) is whether the power management option I have set for the power station will automatically keep that setting for the extra battery? Put differently, I wish to keep both batteries at the same power level while in storage (65%), can I do that using that single function in the app? Thanks so much!
My big solar equipment I manage with Web-Application running in my browser (the data is on the servers of the product producer). Question: Is there a chance to do the same WITH Ecoflow application to control the Ecoflow material as well on a Web-Browser? Thanks
Thanks for your video. So if I plan not to use device about half year, best option is to charge it to 30% and leave ? Shuld I recharge device during this inactive half year, for better battery life?
Yes. I think the recommendation for Li-ion and LiFePO4 is 50% and yes, over 6 months, you may need to check in a few times and cycle the battery. There are also temperature recommendations but I don't think too many people worry about that as they're normally well within the limits that most people would store the batteries anyway.
No, not if it’s in the fully powered down state. You can turn off all inverters and converters but leave the unit on so you can then continue to use the app. There is a small drain doing this but nothing too bad.
Hi…can you have 2 different Ecoflow products, the Ecoflow Delta 2 Max and an EcoFlow Delta Pro on the same app on iPad?…can you see the information from both albeit separately…many thanks for your video…Brian.
Yes, absolutely. All the products appear in the same app and many of the products can work with automations together with each other. So you can fire up the AC on one device if the charge level in another drops below a certain level (or something like that).
@@tdcattech many thanks for getting back to me with that info…I am getting both my units delivered next Monday and hope to offset some home grid use here in the U.K….more as a hobby idea I suppose…VERY are now selling them (EcoFlow products) and at the moment are offering 10% cash back as credit to my account…I also bought through the TopCashback app…total savings overall £443.96 so managing to get some at last…many thanks again…Brian.
thanks a lot for the video sir , in winter now so cold in my car in the morning , can it can be aoutomaticaly on like 6 am and heater on before i drive. ,, on app .. thanks a lot
No. The only way I can think to do this would be to use the timing on a smart plug (assuming you have Wi-Fi) or just a timer plug. However, that would mean leaving the mains inverter enabled all night which would have a big drain even when doing nothing.
Can you increase the output of the USB-C on the Ecoflow Delta Max? I am trying to charge up my iPhone power bank and it only reads out 37 watts shouldn’t it be 100 watts?
It’s only 100W if the device you’re charging can negotiate and charge at 100W and also if your cable supports 100W. Not every USB-C device is ‘PD’ and not every power delivery device is 100W.
Ok, is that really a full look at it? Is there no way to set at what hours it should charge? Price on power varies a lot so it would be handy to charge only on cheap hours.
When this video was made, yes. The second version of the Delta Max (not supported on this original version) does have scheduling around charging for those on split tariffs.
This walkthrough was exactly what i was looking for to confirm the answer to several questions i needed resolved. Thanks.

Trying to get automation set..no video found on it yet.
For people who refuse to buy "smart" products, does it work on Windows?

I had the same issue… it was my WiFi.. I apparently had 2.4 and 5G… my server separated them and then it connected to the 2.4
Because there is NO solution for the most errors and bugs!
Great video. Is there anyway to set timers on the various outputs? For example stop power to individual USB ports after a given time or energy draw?
Hi, if I set the Delta Max charging to 80%, will the extra battery continue to recharge up to 100%, or will it also stop at 80%?

Is this app only connected when you're around the device or you can control it from anywhere with the app connected

On mine I can change the Temperature Unit of Measure in the Settings and Preferences section, below Specifications.

What about remote access on the app for a delta2?
No long able to remotely access.
I want to use UPS mode. Do I need to enable it from the app?
Can you access the app when you're out camping
Is it ok to let my eco flow 2 plugged in all the time and work as a ups. Do I need to anything to have it work as ups
Hi, can you connect via Bluetooth?
Hi
Why dose the App show solar input at 00:36 at night?
It did not charge the battery the whole day…
?? I’m fairly sure it wasn’t night when I recorded this.
@@tdcattech sorry, this was a question 😬
My App shows this - do you know why this could be?
Does ecoflow app work for multiple devices?
Is it better to leave solar hooked up to the delta max and keep topped off or disharge to 20 percent than charge. Looking at the life of the product.
Read on other forums that it’s better for the battery if it’s unplugged once it’s fully charged
Well done!
I have been trying to learn how to switch it on and off with my app. But it says connect unit to internet? I don't know how 😢
Can you schedule the time when you want the AC output to turn on?? I'd like my backyard lights to turn on automatically in the evenings.

Is there any way to set AC off at certain percentage
Do you mean start charging from AC at a certain percentage? If so, no. That is only possible together with a smart generator from Ecoflow.
@@tdcattech well i want it to power off at 30%
Friend that will be better Connect the dometic refrigerator to the ac or dc socket of the Ecoflow?
DC. Otherwise you will loose power by converting to 230V in Ecoflow and then back to 12V DC in fridge.
Much needed video temperatures creeping up while charging gets scary

@@tdcattech So software is updated now or is that specific just to the max?
Love the ecoflow as a device but app and connection to the app is the worst thing ever in the history of everything, given up on it completely.
Huge windstorm last weekend. And the river max saved my fridge food. Now the electricity is back on…. Exploring how bad this app is
No one tells how to install the app. I do not have Internet. Just an android phone
How does device sharing work? How do you set that up? So I can share info with my wife’s app.
thank just got E-F max in :)
TRY SAYING THAT IN ENGLISH NOW
Glitchy app
I should've bought the Ecoflow, Bluetti app sucks
U can't even turn it off the unit thru the app
TELL ME MORE .. I WAS GOING TO BUY ONE
Poor explanation...didn’t demonstrate a single change to a parameter...really? We can all read you know.
so I don't have or want a smart ph just to be off grid>> does that mean I should not buy this product
read where you can;t turn off the beeping without the app!! THAT SUCKS!!
