Not sure about the tolerance comparison between yc8 and lemo, but instead of having extra length on the techflex, I used electrical tape to temporarily tape the techflex to the cable sticking out to get the end nuts onto the cable more easily without fraying the techflex.

Hi, thanks for the video. I am curious about the wiring pin out in your diagram (which I have also seen elsewhere) but note that the USB A wiring pin out is different. For example, pin 1 is VCC and pin 4 is GND for USB A. I am worried about frying devices! Thanks

It might be a good idea to connect the male and female "cores" together when tinning them or soldering wires to the connectors, the plastic part (I think it's plastic) of the connector might melt unless you're quick when you're soldering. If you'll do 13:07 remember to unplug the cable, you don't want to short your computer with your tweezers, unless the male connector is on the device end. This is kinda a note to beginner's and myself when I actually do this

  • @robble1929

Hey, I think it would be very cool if you would have a top view of your workspace instead of that front view because the action is always in the upper part of the frame and sometimes even out of the frame so the viewers can't see what you're doing. I think that would be pretty cool and a nice improvement making your videos more comfortable to watch.
