Thanks everyone for watching and your comments! There's a new Korn cover on my channel, I'd love to see what are your thoughts on that one. Cheers! th-cam.com/video/5VNF4kxiObM/w-d-xo.html
This is the most friendliest face ever to play one of the most emotionally heavy music

@@pv_bassplayer I think it defines the Korn sound
Love the Type O negative vibe

Hey great job man. You got the slap pick pretty good. Not a lot of people can play korn on bass
Thanks a lot man! It was definitely challenging to nail. I uploaded a new Korn vid recently in case you feel like checking it out! th-cam.com/video/5VNF4kxiObM/w-d-xo.html
Love Korn, Nice cover and man that tone was sick. I mean Feildy's Lines are humble but he makes em flashy. You got the heart of this and looked like you were having a good time and thats what music is all about in my opinion.
thank you very much for your comments! I agree, I really like the uniqueness on Fieldy's bass lines. And I did enjoy a lot playing this one! I might cover another one from him some time soon
i just knew i had to trust this cover. love the sound of your bass, and this cover was fantastic.
thanks a lot for your comments! :)

Beautiful!❤
thanks a lot!
i like u a lot
nice cover bro!
I love bass guitars and watching covers of them helps me understand how to play them for when I get my first bass!
thank you very much. you are gonna have so much fun when you get that bass!
Sick cover bro!!
Thank you very much man!
Are the bass frequencies so low in the chorus that the mic cant pick yhem up?
I didn't use a mic to record this, but I was experimenting with post processing tools by then and that definitely had an impact on the outcome that may relate to what you point. I think you can hear the bass line well though. Anyway, my latest video is a Korn cover, no post effects at all, and sounds way better IMO
Awesome cover. Love the strings. I had red ones on my old bass
Thanks a lot! I love DRs, sound great and look great as well. I used to have the red ones on another 5 string too!
how long do those strings sound good for? would love to get a set.
depends on how much you play. if you play regularly, I would say 2 or 3 months tops
Awesome job, man. Great tone.
thank you very much!
The best cover I have seen yet you are awesome fella 😎
thanks a lot!
Fieldy is underrated
I agree. His style is unique and awesome
.. are they still green ?
I don't play my Ibanez so much really, but I change its strings yearly, so I wouldn't be able to tell.
The bass I use the most is my Spector (also greens lately) and I can tell you that they remain green for almost a year. Afterwards, you'll get some black spots on top of the fret because of usage, but they remain green. The red and the blue colored ones on the other hand, they totally lose their color (red turn pink and blue turn light blue)
well played 👌👌are the neon strings as rough as normal strings 🎶🎶
thanks a lot! dr strings sound as incredible as they look, but the feel is similar to regular roundwounds. and you also get blisters when you haven't practiced enough 😅
@@pv_bassplayer yeah well ive only had my bass a week and fret fingers are a bit saw lol
@@cossie118bmk congrats! if you practice regularly your fingers should get used to that within the first months or so
@@pv_bassplayer thanks for the addvice ive just subbed to you 👍👍thanks again
It's amazing how these low budget soundgear basses sound better than the high end ones sometimes.
agreed. you can get a pretty decent sound to play in lower tunings in particular
@@pv_bassplayer it's funny seeing all the guys dropping 1200$ on the k5 or prestige edition basses when the first Ibanez Fieldy had was one of the cheapos and it doesn't sound much different than the newer Korn stuff with his signature basses. Once you have a good amp and everything an Ibanez is an Ibanez and they mostly have a certain tone. I've been fixing up one of these GSR 205's and I think they sound great. Pretty surprised especially when I've tried lots of Ibanez basses and wasn't very impressed with the tone. They do all feel nice though.
I can't really agree, the GSR 205 was and still is my first bass. When it was new it played well but after years the electronics stopped working and after 7 years the pickups stopped working too. I mean they still played, but it was just big booming sound without high end. But otherwise, it's a well-made instrument at a good price. Now it has new pickups, electronics and plays better than ever.
@@orty156 I've heard of the same issue from basses costing about 20x the price. Those parts wear out eventually. And I actually like the stock pickups and fat boost preamp it has. Well set up and it sound really nice. I have a gsr205 and sr505 and I try to make it sound close to the gsr because I love that tone. Im hobestly thinking about getting the guts from another gsr and putting it in the sr505. Either that or find the ibanez pickups and do that.
@@garrydhintz8017 I put pickups and electronics in it from RM pickups made in the Czech Republic. Electronics and pickups are passive. But they have high output. I would compare the sound to Spector. And a great thing that I like to use is switching between single coil and humbucker mode.
Awesome!
thank you very much!
nice cover bro🗣
thank you very much!
