Great video! And yes I will chime in and say you are the best speaker of all. Your soul comes through Jason when you speak. I believe God made you a speaker to help all of the rest of us who have gone through cancer and other health issues. I know you get nervous before you speak. However when you start to express your heart to others, there is a connection that happens. Not many people can touch a heart like you and Lorraine & Penelope do. It's a whole package that does what it's supposed to do... Touch Others, Help Others, and in turn we all send you our Love and Thanks!!! You're Doing A Fantastic Job!😊❤🙏
Hey guys! It was great to meet you all this weekend! I was the lady that won the seed bucket from you guys. I am so grateful and can’t wait to start planting soon. I have already put the bucket to use and started harvesting our walnuts. Thanks again for taking time to do what you do. ❤️👨🌾👩🌾
Julie Rowland that is me and my sister behind you in the video. I didn’t realize what was going on at the time because I was talking with Rebekah Rhodes mom Beth who I met on their farm last year and admiring all the TH-camrs children from Justin Rhodes, White House on the hill and of course Sow the land channels.
Hi...... Jason and Lorraine I love your video and keep sharing and keep smiling be happy , thank you for sharing your video homestead chicken farmer garden 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👋 🐔🐓🐥🌱🎥👍👍👍
I am so glad that all of you homesteading youtubers tell us about all these other channels. I found your channel during the Bakercreek Expo through VW Farms. I found their channel through Roots and Refuge. I found their channel through Deep South Homestead from The Gathering. I live in an Xburb near a medium sized metro area. We have a little over an acre here in SW Tenn. All of you guys are living my dream. I'm 52 and my husband is 58. We've been married 33 years. I want to homestead. He does NOT. Manuel labor is against his religion. =( I can't do it all myself. So, I try with growing food and support a man down the road that raises about 30 chickens and buy eggs from him. I would have been at both events (bakercreek, too) if I could. This is our future!! Keep sharing channels. I'm grateful that all of you do. I watched you build Justin's cold room and then after Bakercreek found you had your own channel.
It was so wonderful talking to you again at the HOA. We didn't get to speak much at the Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Expo. Next time you come out for it, you'll have to come up and see our homestead progressing. We're a few hours away but it's worth the drive. Beautiful farm and wine country. Thanks for the shout out!
I started out just growing a few thing in some small pots. Things i was able to do. Then i got better at growing stuff every year i tried new stuff. I doubt i will even be a big farmer, but i am having fun growing small amounts of stuff.
Check out Heartiness Approach they have been on a journey to find their homestead at an advanced age. They found it and due to a serious health scare they sold and are now helping another couple in Nevada.
Jason, don’t question yourself about speaking. It’s a part of life now,and the more you speak the better.....You’ll do well every time. You and God got this! ♥️ Much love to whole Family. So happy ya sold out fast. Great job. Your famous....♥️♥️♥️♥️💥
Jason, you are the man. Everyone gets nervous at first when speaking publicly. It will get better and you have so much to share. Keep it up buddy. Love you and your family
Lorraine! I grew loofah two yrs. ago and it was FANTASTIC! Start seeds really early, like the last week of Feb. Loofah has a crazy long growing season. I ended up with 4-5 plants, my fault, but God clearly knew that. I didn't need those other 30 plants (I dragged my feet on getting them in the ground, planted in bad soil, etc) The yield from those 4-5 plants was an explosion of 75 loofahs! Some ppl say for while drying is a problem, so I hung them in the basement, and had very low percentage of rot. Then, like you did with the shake-shake, the seeds were harvested. I have a "blue zillion" seeds. Sarah on Living Traditions grew them on a cattle panel half hoop, and. I think that would be wise, as the vines can get 16-30 ft. My neighbor thought. I went and got plastic flowers and put in the garden, it had so many blooms. All the best! Amy
This was our first year attending the HOA conference, and what a blessing it was! We met so many great people, and the community is so great! We're already looking forward to next year, and meeting others along the way! ♥
Sold out, I know that feeling! Sold bread at our farmers market for several years and always sold out in short time. But only had 30l loaves. Loved that feeling. They loved my product.
So pleased you sold so much stuff. That is because you have talent and you and your family have fabulous smiles. I hope Penelope sold some of her pretty bracelets.
How wonderful that your store sold completely out! How did Penelope's bracelets do? Anyway you could made a Berenice charm out of wood that she could paint and attach for next year? Everyone knows who Berenice is that watches your channel. Just a though since winter is coming and you might find time for some woodworking, after you replenish your store of course.
Seeing all you young folks learning to be good stewards to your families, animals, communities and the land gives us great hopes for the future of our planet earth. We know this lifestyle is sustainable and will feed the population. Looking forward to when all the polluting cruel animal lots and chemical farming has been banned and you people are the forerunners to what is possible. You rock!
It was so great to see you again this year at Homesteaders! Jason I’m flattered you remembered me from last year (must be that CA thing). Sorry I didn’t get to your booth before you sold out of everything. Getting ready to brew some Fire Cider Lorraine and I will follow your suggestion to dehydrate the leftover ingredients to use for seasoning.
So very happy to hear you guys sold out of all your products that is awesome so that tells me you have great products and your woodworking is phenomenal thank you for sharing what us that could not make it to the event so looking forward to more videos from so the land keep up the good work guys
You and your family have a story to tell, so many of us are so inspired by the vlogs your family put out. Don't stop teaching people how to homestead!☺️
Idk if I'm still emotional from watching Justin Rhodes video with Joe Salatin and Rory Fleek, but seeing how much you all inspire people has me tearing up. Love you guys!!!
It was heart warming to see customers so eager to purchase your goods and talk to you! I am thrilled that many are seeking the homesteaders' way of life. Thank you for your assistance in this movement!
It looks like you guys had a great time. Congratulations on selling out your beautiful projects and crafts. Talking about what you know and love gets easier every time you speak. Enjoy!!
How did miss P do on her bracelets? Hope she did well ! Looks like a great time was had by all. Blessings. As for your public speaking I am sure it went well and you will get more confidence every time you do it.
I talked to you after you spoke and told you that you had been my favorite speaker at the HOA and I still feel that way afterwards. Some things you said really spoke to my heart and I thank you! I enjoyed it all but you were the most inspiring for me!
Farmer Brad is from my state. I was like East Central Indiana, that's where I grew up. It's awesome y'all sold out, but I'm not surprised. Excited to catch everyone's talks online. Thanks for sharing everything you do.
Use are all inspirations!! With your gardens, animals, farming on 1.5 acres, building homemade products and public speaking!! Keep up the great work, keep the TH-cam videos coming! :) Thank you
HOA has turned into a nice money making venture for you! I guess you'll need to start stocking your merchandise for your sales booth earlier next year. 🤔
You use to be shy & self-conscious, but you've come a long, long way. You're a lot more comfortable speaking now than you think. The camera never lies.
Good video! I truly love seeing these important skills being kept alive, and so many who are eager to learn. Honestly- Grow Food, Build Stuff, Repeat is a mantra that could save our food system when put in action.
Love Gold Shaw Farm, Morgan is one of the best storytellers on TH-cam. That’s super awesome that y’all sold out! Public speaking - the more you do it, the better you’ll get. Four times in one year, I bet you are doing a great job!
It was awesome to have met you Jason and Lorraine. I was bummed that you had sold out of shirts but that’s good for you guys. Keep on doing your thing and hopefully see you next year again.
HOA is the ultimate party for like-minded people. I wish I could attend someday. As for your career and public speaking, if your former co-workers could see you now....
I’m so glad we got to meet you and Lorraine. Bonus, we made it in your video! Ahh! Seriously though, keep doing what you’re doing, inspiring people to take the leap and living your best life. ❤️
Congratulations on selling out of the booth, yes this is only the beginning. I agree that people are wanting to take control of how they're food is grown. You all are such a joy to watch, you do an excellent job of speaking, we enjoyed your presentation st the Hierloom expo this last Sept. God bless you and your family, looking forward to future videos😍
The luffa is a great find for you. It is also delicious. Cut it up and fry it, and it taste exactly like okra, but without the slime okra has. Put it on a trellis and cover the west side of your house for cooling. Also has beautiful flowers.
People really like you even if you have the fear of speaking in front of people. You are just a likable type of person. The shy guy who is willing to learn anything.
When you speak publicly you are expanding your skill set and the more you do it, the more comfortable and better you will be at doing it.
As a former public performer as well as a teacher, I couldn't agree more!
Great video! And yes I will chime in and say you are the best speaker of all. Your soul comes through Jason when you speak. Congratulations Julie! That's SO exciting 😊 It so nice to have seeds to play with thru the looonng winter!! Good luck in the spring 🙂

Don't try to be a "Public Speaker" Just share your experience and what you have learned. You guys are awesome.
Exactly, it's almost like telling stories on TH-cam.
Thanks for the shout out!
good seeing yall !
Large smile when I heard you sold out . Outstanding
Congratulations on the sell out, that's a beautiful thing. Please keep speaking, how else will we all learn. Love you all, God bless.🙏
It appears the best way to meet all my favorite homesteaders is to get to H O A! This has got to be one of the most awesome communities around!
the only way to see everyone in one place. :)
This episode shows how generous you are, advertising other youtubers, God bless
I want to homestead!! But I'm too old to start, so I live it thru you!
I started out just growing a few thing in some small pots.
Things i was able to do.
Then i got better at growing stuff every year i tried new stuff.
I doubt i will even be a big farmer, but i am having fun growing small amounts of stuff.
Start small pots on patio then do a raised bed.
Check out Heartiness Approach they have been on a journey to find their homestead at an advanced age. They found it and due to a serious health scare they sold and are now helping another couple in Nevada.
Missed it this year but planning to come next time!! Blessings from VA!

I was at your talk. It was great. I’m the guy who homesteads all day then watches you homestead. This is my community.
Don’t worry about public speaking, when you have a message, the speaking comes naturally.
