    This was beautiful! You have no idea how much I love cayenne pepper.
    When I saw that big box of cayenne on your livestream, my eyes got huge!
    Made me hungry. 😂 And inspired me more to grow a bunch.

    Nice. This process works for than just cayennes. Used a blender to grind up paprika peppers after dehydrating them. I have learned to wear food gloves while doing this when working with more than a couple hot peppers. I've had burning face a few times as the pepper oil can stay on your fingers even after washing your hands. I turned all of my cayennes into Buffalo wing sauce. :)

      MMM Buffalo sauce sounds like a plan. I also have had face burn on more than on occasion. Thanks for watching, Steve I appreciate all your support.

    Yikes! You do good handling the cayenne peppers with care and caution Chicken Johnny! Back in prehispanic times if children didn't understand well with verbal discipline and were very hardheaded, well teachers and parents would have a windowless room, fill it with chili peppers and shove the brat in there, you can bet that kid learned his lesson well and behaved as expected of him. Thumbs up, thanks for sharing, greetings to Mother Goose and you as well as the black chicken Johnny boy loves so much! ;)

    Oh yeah, I can imagine this being real good. Eye protection may be an advantage as the fumes rather burn the eyes. 🤣
    I make my own Indonesian Sambal using the hottest Chili's I can find (even some ghost reapers as well as Thai Chili's), so I know all about the fumes burning. Nice one, I love it. 💯❤👍

    • @chickenjohnny3308
      @chickenjohnny3308  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have a rack and I set it out on the porch where it is cool but will not freeze. I did get some mold in the peppers, it made for a slow process. I will use the rejects as insect and rodent repellant around the house and Barn.

  • @TheBigBlueHouseHomestead

    No!!! Don't stick your nose in the grinder. It'll clear your sinuses! Brave man! And Mama goose, wear gloves....that oil sticks, and your fingers will burn. Atleast you have the spices now😀

    • @chickenjohnny3308
      @chickenjohnny3308  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know if you can become immune to peppers. We have been processing them for so many years it just seems normal to feel the burn. The worst is when I was making salsa chopping up habaneros and the phone rang answering was not a good plan.

  • @TheSwaffordHomestead
    @TheSwaffordHomestead 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I use my bullet blender... I'm not too sensitive to the pepper, gloves is a good thing....But my wife can't stand to be in the house when we grind... Hot sauce, she kicks me outside until its capped...lol

    • @chickenjohnny3308
      @chickenjohnny3308  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ya I never wear gloves ether does Sandy but some folks are sensitive to it. I always seem to touch my eyes at some point.
