    After dehydrating my peppers (with seeds) i use a two step process. First i blend them up into flakes using a bullet blender, then i use a coffee grinder to grind the flakes into fine powder. And i only use that grinder to grind peppers, nothing else. i do not want the finished product to be diluted in any kind. Neither do i want chili in my coffee nor coffee in my chili. The blender however gets rinsed out and used for anything that comes up. And just a little hint: after blending/grinding you will want to wait a bit till the dust has settled. You do not want that in your eyes and nose....trust me.

    The seeds should not be removed because of the essential oils, which help break down peppers in the stomach during digestion.

      Usually "chilli powder" has many other less spicy spices mixed in, and also often uses chillies that are less spicy. Some chilli powders are much spicier than others though.
      "Cayenne pepper powder" is usually made from 100% cayenne pepper, wich is a moderately hot chilli that has a very unique flavour. I love the taste of cayenne, and it is the perfect chilli for me, as I am a european who likes to eat spicier foods. I have seen someone (probably american person) write on a blog that cayenne is "super spicy", and while it is 30'000-50'000 SHU and most chilli powders are made from chillies that are 1000-5000 SHU, it still pales in comparison to the world's spiciest peppers at 1'000'000- 2'000'000 SHU.

      For sure not a fake 🙂 might be they added the seed as well that is why the color is reddish. You must try to make at home to see the difference 😍

    Instead of using dehydrator why didnt u dry chillies in sun

    • @MaryRosePassions
      @MaryRosePassions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, thanks for watching!
      I use dehydrator for faster drying and avoiding the molds might arise if longer drying. Sun is great if there is plenty of sun. 💕
