Who ever made this toy, they are really genius, can’t wait to see the complete parts
Despite LOOKING absolutely amazing their Mixmaster has received poor reviews from every video I’ve seen because of how stupidly unstable it is. This model looks like it may be a little better simply due to its bulk but it clearly still has a lot of small hinges and rotating parts that might be an annoyance.
Simply put, good models, HORRIBLE playability.
Sam Jiang i m not sure those are supposed to be played with. They look more like collector’s figurines; you know the ones for decoration.
I mean, just look how much steps you need to transform! Imagine a kid doing that!
@@VJK102 the playability that he mean is to pose the figure and make it looks cool but ds-01 split (not Mixmaster) doesn't do that job well, sure the joint is tight but everything in the figure doesn't plug in, it just flopping around and lack of possibility in some areas plus the figure's look is like a moving block more than a proper robot, make the posing doesn't look that much dynamic, so it make the figure looks like a disappointment

The "playable" devastator is the studio series.
This is a collectors item....it must cost a fortune....no parent would spend that much money on a toy for a child.

Long Haul: Yes
I’m relieved seeing that this guy has a smoother transformation than their Mixmaster. The first time I saw MM’s transformation and combination form it just scared me from this third part figure set. I think it was pretty cool that their Mixmaster could turn into the robot, turret, head, and cement mixer, but the transformations came from one of the nine circles of hell. The Long Haul looks great though, I think I might actually pick him up and just keep Mixmaster in head mode.

Tbh this is really “black magic” cuz you can see every vehicle part, cuz it’s from the original trilogy of transformers movies (it would have more kibble than a knight Optimus) now, real black magic is something like Unique Toys Dragoon, should see that if you haven’t.

@obxcure lettuce Wrong... If you give these "toys" to a 5 year old kid, its a waste of money because these itens are too expensive, delicate and complex to simply give to a kid and forget. I say again: These itens are collector pieces and should be on a high shelf to admire, not play. The concept its the same as collecting "hot wheels" vehicles ( Mainly adults buy those vehicles just to put on a glass shelf ).
Okay, I’ll make sure to give my studio series devastator toy to a kid at a kindergarten. These are technically “toys” as they have play value and can do anything you want really, but they are delicate. I wouldn’t recommend bashing them together.
@@jaycob1830 these games are for adults with a particular inclination to everything that is perfect ... but after the fourth technological change I have completely forgotten how to bring it back to its initial form ... this does not mean that they are too complex or badly done, indeed .. . are small works of art for those who know how to appreciate these jewels and for those who certainly have a sufficient economic availability to be able to have one

If it ain't broken, don't fix it, the transformation is almost the same as in the original ROTF figure. The engineering on that mold was way ahead of its time!
The transformation is a simplistic improvement over the MixMaster's floppy, loose, and untabbed parts. They've definitely learned and improved upon their engineering this time around!
I’m surprised by how similar the transformation is to the original 2009 Long Haul
This has a lot of transformation steps like the original 2009 voyager Long Haul but with small added steps for extra detail. Nice😎🤘

It’s funny, the robot mode looks more like onslaught rather than long haul, mostly because long haul is more chubby and appears shorter

Looks more pleasant than Split. I have watched Jobby's video on Split. Didnt look fun. And Emgo,another reviewer,threw his first Split and broke it out of frustration. I'm curious to see how the whole set will turn out.

Wish that truck bed was deeper. His alt mod is suppose to be an earth mover type dump truck that's bigger than a house.
Holy shit. This thing rocks. The lower legs seem a little on the skinny side to me, but because of that sick-nasty engineering, I think I can let it slide. It's probably not as bad as I think it is. I wish his toes could spread out a little, though. Also, I had hoped the panel on his back actually segmented into the 6 smaller panels he has in the movie, or at least had them all on a separate panel you could flip out. Oh well. Just nitpicks. Overall, though, Smash kicks ass.
I think the problem with Split was that Bayverse Mixmaster, as a design, is *very* spindly, and at the same time he has to become the *ENTIRE HEAD AND NECK* of Devastator. Long Haul, on the other hand, is very, shall I say... THICC. And Smash here replicates that pretty well. Here's hoping that the remaining components of Troublemaker end up just as good--if not better--than this guy, because the thought of putting together a Masterpiece-scaled (or at least *roughly* Masterpiece-scaled) Revenge of the Fallen Devastator brings me nothing but joy.
The issue with these toys is the possibility, i wish there was more to it but clean transformer none the less.
