  • Hi designers, I often get asked about how to do design to developer handoff but I want to emphasize that there is so much more to the working relation between an engineer and designer.
I've created 2 videos, this first video covers my experience working with engineers and my learnings. The second will cover the steps I take from start to finish of a project, including how I do handoff to developers.

I love your approach with working with engineers. Though I'm not a designer, I enjoy designing mockups and teaching other devs how to think like a designer and appreciate them more. WE'RE ALL A TEAM!

I'm currently pursuing Engineering degree but I don't like coding and stuff I love designing so does the engineering background help me anyway as a UX Designer?

Hey Rohith, great that you figured that out. Engineering will definitely be valuable as you work in design. You’ll probably be able to understand constraints and implementation better and work closer with engineers.
