problem nowadays is that valuations are alot higher than most companys intrinsic value...so its getting harder!!!

You could wait for prices to go down or sell a put at the price at which you are willing to buy it, for example I’m willing to buy Union Pacific at $172.50, so I sold a put 30 days to expiration on it at that strike, if it goes under I own at a price I want, if not it acts like a limit order that I got paid for. If Union Pacific is at about the same price next month I would just roll it over and do it again. Buffett does this on the S and P 500, and coke, but using longer term expirations.

@@Bailey_iQ Worst advice ever. In this case you would've missed out on 2 years of a rampant bull market. You would need the market to 'correct' MASSIVELY for this advice to make any sense. Time in the market beats market timing.
