SHORT STORY . THE FINAL JUDGEMENT Alone. Secluded. Isolated. All the words I could describe for the darkness that consumes my branded eyes. Cold. Weak. Hopeless. Further embedded into my brain that wrinkles like twisting snakes writhing like rabid monsters, I'm a monster. Plain and ingrained into forgotten metal and bone that blackened with every moment I'm here. I'm here... I'm still here. How many moons has pasted over my tormented head? How long has that blood been dripping and pooling my prison? Not long... Or has it been forever? Forever is a word that tortures my eternal soul more than the dripping. The dripping. The drip dropping of the sands of time passing as I continued to stay. Why? Why do I continue? Simple. I fear the end.
What is 'the end'? Such two words come about at the last pages of a heartfelt fairy tale, the end of the struggles that block to the way of happiness or simply a set of words to describe the lack of something existence. I only wished to put an end to the very mention of 'the end' because then they'll only be beginnings. Happy beginnings, sad beginnings, the most wonderful beginnings that come around when you see the eyes of a new-born child coming into our beautiful world. Peace. That was my desires... Yet, I'm here... Where the only peace comes from the silence that only open space can replicate. I'm trapped. I'm broken... And I'm yet so whole.
I wish for freedom, the freedom to save the ones I love who put me here for reasons beyond the ability of understanding. I do not understand. How can anyone understand that what they're doing is wrong? The absent of life can only lead to one thing. Pain. And they're actions are causing others pain. Causing their own pain which drives them to push it further into pure agony. I must move but my chains hold me back. I help for assistance from my magical mind, but nothing moves to my command as my flowing mane reflected their own sources of light that originated from those star pupiled eyes... I'm trapped. And I cannot escape. Silver once dawned my violent fur, as gentle and cool as an autumn breeze. Now ebony is cased across my aching muscles, tightening their grip around every passing nerve to halt me in moving my body. The chains. Oh, the chains. The mere sound of them freezes any twitch that threatens to emerge. I must stay frozen because otherwise I will break. I cannot move. I cannot let the screams of desire make their tortured sounds...
I could feel the blood pooling from my secondary muzzle. The warmth being a constant reminder... The only reminder that I'm still here. I'm... Or we. We don't know if we're an 'I' or a 'she' anymore. We are alive... And that's all we need to know.
Alone... Alone as a pair never felt so true. I fear for the end. But not our own... Let it end... Let us end before we can feel, again...
"My dearest friends. Save me... Save us... I cannot breathe on without your smiles... Say something for I need you ever more. I need reality, you to be real because you feel like a dream. A dream that I wish to be real. Speak to me! Don't leave me here! Someone! Anyone! Let me hear you!" Everlight/Twilight cried, the wideness of her eyes beginning the tears that never had their own happy ending. Screams and cries that never had their embracing monotones, the only comforting sounds came from the echoes of those cries as their sobbed with her. The sounds of a hundred tragic ends that would never reach her. So, she crumbled and cried. Knowing from the slivers of sanity that still hold that no one... Was coming to save her from herself...
(A follow-up to your short) "Well, well, well if you wanted some help all you had to do was ask my dear old friend." "Who? Who are you?" "Have you not been paying attention Twilight. A friend~. I mean you are the princess of magic after all hahaha." "We don't recognize that name." "Sigh. Well alright then what do you go by now Ms. Know it all." "Everlast. Everlasting Everlight." "Well Everlight the names Discord and I'm here to help." "How?" "Good question but wrong. The word you're looking for is... When." They saw a talon reach out from the darkness and snapped causing them to see nothing but white.

THE FINAL JUDGEMENT
Alone. Secluded.
