Wow I sure miss these times in America.
In case anybody is wondering the ship at 0:46 is the RMS Lusitania
No shit sherlock
Lyrics:
There's a dream of a country wide and bountiful.
There's a song of the city on the hill.
There's a feeling of a nation proud and beautiful,
The reflection of its own good people's will.
If you see the dream America,
If you hear the song America,
If you feel this blessing liberty 200,000,000 strong.
If you see the dream America,
If you hear the song America,
Then here is where your heart and mind belong.
There's a dream of the poor no longer hungry,
There's a song of the old no long alone,
There's a brotherhood of children proud and wondering,
As their spirit full of freedom marches on
If you see the dream America
If you hear the song America
If you feel this blessing liberty 200,000,000 strong.
If you see the dream America,
If you hear the song America,
Then here is where your heart and mind belong.
Thanks for the lyrics, much appreciated!
He would have been awesome if he could have had two terms
At least Carter managed to attain majority support at certain points during his tenure - something a future 1-termer NEVER had!
I don't know about that. He wasn't that great at negotiating with his own party to get shit done. He is a good person but not a great leader.
@@brucebanana4486 yes, Carter is a great man.... he just wasn’t meant to be a great president.
@@doublea1671 he was president in a horrible time in American history for any president, even if Reagan was president then he'd lose to any strong democrat

Que fuerte potente campaña para esos tiempos !
His song was President Carter Tasty Peanuts America’s Favorite President Carter
This song is so beautiful it makes me cry, such a same that he was a disaster during the presidency.
Could you tell me the lyrics of the song?
C'est incroyable quand même une nation unie par goût du rêve 🇺🇲
c'est vrai
In Jimmy Carters defense the Iran situation really began with Eisenhower, Nixon administrations. a bomb was started in 1953 with the CIA Coup that put the shah in power. In 1969 Nixon basically opened the gate to massive weapons sales as part of his Nixon doctrine. Nixon and the Shah really had a very close and uncomfortable relationship. Nixon allowed the shah to get away with things that democrats did not permit. Shah basically thought Ford was an old donkey. Kissinger hmm. Well he played a role as well. I do not believe Carter had all the answers to the true nature of Iran and USA relationship. Those secrets were denied to him by Nixon Ford Kissinger and Rockerfeller.
legendary video , jimmy carter is the best good person president

Just Glad he's lived to see he's not the worst president ever!
It never was, just look at Andrew Johnson, Woodrow Wilson, Warren Harding, Herbert Hoover and for me the worst of them James Buchanan.
@@PedroArthur-js9kd I think he was till Jan 20 2021 but they were bad 2! Also Thanks for not saying Trump
@@nickaluusstancil Honestly, I like Trump, he may not have been the best but i don't consider him bad.
@@PedroArthur-js9kd Yessir! MAGA! FJB!
History’s greatest monster
What?
Simpsons reference
Malaise forever
No, although he wasn't good, he wasn't anywhere near the worst.
Double digit inflation, record interest rates, unfair tax increases, a farm embargo, gas lines, no growth at home, weakness abroad, and a phony excuse about malaise.
And still the kindest president we've had in a hundred years by far.
Most of those problems started before Carter took office. The President has no control over the Federal Reserve although he put Paul Volker into office. In order to understand the Iran situation read the Oil Kings or Nixons Man. The Shah was keep in power by the eastern establishment for strategic reasons. The Shah turned on the USA in the mid-1970s. This makes me think our understanding of the Iran revolution is incomplete
@@fuego421So what? Being kind does not make somebody qualified to be President of the United States. I’m not saying he was a bad person, but he was not qualified to be the leader of this country.
@@matthewnikitas8905clearly you aren't qualified to state who is and isn't qualified to serve as President.
@@brekedekdang39 I am most certainly allowed to have an opinion and I’m not going to let a stranger tell me otherwise. Go kick rocks
The President needs the help of the Lord Jesus Christ! The Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, can change a lost soul into a believer in the one true God!
Billy Graham was an old school Democrat. Andy Griffith was an old school Democrat. They knew that the Lord Jesus Christ is the real reason for America's exceptionalism and greatness.
Psalm 33:12 says: "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance."
Proverbs 13:34 says: "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people."
