I love the view at 1:49. Wow the tree lined avenue with lights at 5:44. Lots of taxi cabs at 7:00. Live music concert at 10:00. Artists and dancing at 12:50. The glorious tunnel at 16:50. You should go inside the tree at 24:21. Wow a fun carnival with rides too. ❗❗78

So glad I had the chance to visit, this island is easily one of the top 5 most beautiful places in Europe. It's probably the place that inspired the Atlantis myths.

We have booked from 31st to 7th January Travelling from UK to madeira. Could some local advice if there will be lockdown before 31st or first week January? Don't want to be stuck. Please reply guys any locals
Hi GK, I'm hoping things will be OK here from 31st to 7th January, we are also from UK and plan to remain here until 16th January. I understand you don't want to be stuck, perhaps the locals will know different but as far as we know it will be similar to last Christmas when we enjoyed our stay.

@@gkappliances7867 You're welcome, if you're double vaccinated you only need proof of that enter Madeira, then on the way out they give you a free lateral flow test for entry back to the uk. Have a great trip!

@@gkappliances7867 Hi there, I'd continue to check the guidelines, as they change all the time, particularly with the UK Gov, but when we came you didn't need antigen tests taken upon arrival at the airport for fully vaccinated. In any case you get offered one free test by the Madeiran Government when you arrive (or) leave here for anyone who requires it. Weather wise, in the last month we've had a mix of rain, storms and very warm sunny weather, so I's bring a provision for that. Having said that we travel with only cabin under seat bags and so have spring like clothes (t shirt and shorts and light trousers) and 1 warm jumper and a raincoat and it's been fine. Today is lovely and around 20 degrees!! Hope you have a good time here and say hello if you see us walking around with a dji pocket 2 camera!!

Hi there Ab, yes it’s a lovely island, have you been? I’d recommend it. We tend to travel for both videoing and holiday. The videos don’t make terribly much income as you may have discovered but we do enjoy it. Been enjoying your Brighton videos btw, one of my favourite places in the uk and not too far away from us in Leigh on sea. All the best to you.
