Loved this, thanks Joey. Just been watching all your Madeira vids as going next Oct to do some hiking and exploring. Fab video and all the foodie ones too, very very helpful. We’ve made a note of them
My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary...we were all over the place. From food to landscape, it was a good experience. I recomend to visit in September-October, lower season, nice weather and not much rain.
Another great video, and I'm glad I can walk along the front. I'm staying in a hotel, lido area, and it looks like I can walk along the prom into Funchal. Monday can't come quick enough.
I was there between 25th Sept-2nd October packed our days with sightseeing, so many places to visit, the palace, the gardens fanal, skywalk, natural pools, old town, fishing village, the cable cars. We did most of it by ourselves but the last day we did a jeep tour for the full day so packed in much more visiting the beaches. Country is beautiful and I have to say food was good also the prices for food was beyond reasonable. Other than the constant cobble roads and pavement’s I had the best time 😊
Hi Joey :) I never comment on your videos but I loved them so much and my husband too 😅 we were there twice this year and can't wait to go back ❤ Take care 🤗
I like walks like this a lot, very relaxing indeed. Ideally, in the description, add the date it was recorded... If I'm planning a trip it's always this type of video I watch to figure out what kind of clothing to bring and dates make it easier.
That's quite a walk. I get the 02 bus from the Electricity Museum to Praia Formosa and walk back BUT 2 coffee stops: Boutique Lido (great coffee and pastries) and Café Gruta. My old knees complain by the time I get to the Old Town. BTW: I have given up walking 'restaurant street' as you have manoeuvre past too many extended tables and meandering tourists! My moan but I'm old 😂
Great walk. I did a similar walk a few days ago when I was over there. One thing I did notice up to the previous few years I was there was the amount of beggars on the streets, what has happened? Just from Lido area to to CR7 museum we passed about 6 and 3 on one small street by the Pestana Carlton, it all seemed a bit strange as it never seemed to be an issue over there previously.
I don't know if you're available, but you could talk and walk, telling us about the places as you hike, like chatting and walking together. This is good content too, but I prefer more of a sense of camaraderie in vlogs.
Hi, I came across your TH-cam channel and really enjoyed your content! I noticed it hasn't been getting as many views as it deserves. As a professional graphic designer, I’d love to help you enhance your thumbnails and reach a wider audience. If you're interested, let me know!

thank you! glad you enjoyed it. (you never know you might like the other videos for entertainment value haha
What a gorgeous island! Vibrant colours, cobble stone streets, art, views are amazing!
it sure is stunning
Breathtakingly beautiful scenery, Joe. All those rocky ridges must have kept the island safe from natural disaster. Thanks for posting.
So beautiful isn't it!

You can walk along the promenade from the Lido to Câmara de Lobos (the small fishing village), it’s well worth doing.
@@BelaMadeira thank you 😊
Hoper you had an amazing time!

Been there, done that, I even bought the T-shirt! 😉😁
🤣🤣🤣
Idea: A ferry day trip to Porto Santo I think would turn into a great vlog.
Yes I want to take my mini motorcycle over for that
Very nice. Thanks for taking us on your walk around. Like 106 from a new follower❤
You’re a star!
Excelente ❤.

nice place to live
It really is!
You almost got me at the Zona Velha Joe, thankfully I was hiding behind a menu stand 😜
Hahaha I’ll try harder next time
Very nice :😊
Thank you :)

Agreed, it isn't my favourite place either, but I had to show it

Bcs the government thinks Madeira is the dubai of europe!
Yeah since 2020 it’s really gone up! It’s a sad thing to see and I hope they are able to get things sorted, from both sides
Y’all help me in Thailand now you’re helping me in Madeira. Thank you.
That’s awesome haha! Love it
Thanks!
Dan thank you so much!
Spent much time walking in Funchal
it is a joy!

I agree! We love all your descriptive details about things. Loved being able to see Funchal this way though!
Yes! I will do some of this, thank you for the idea. I think it is good to have some different styles and concepts in the vlogs
thank you :)
One reason why my wife does not want to consider Funchal is because she hears its all hills. This video proves that it's not! Thanks, Joey.
it kind of is haha, but there is plenty of flat walking too
Joey, did you now that the "Parque de Santa Catarina" was a old cemitery, until 1940?
oh, I didn't, that is interesting!
Visit porto santo island, best beach of europe
Yes!! I plan to do thsy
A nice tour Joe, but we miss your voice.
Hahaha there will be plenty more of that don’t you worry
When was this filmed? Just asking cos it looks quiet
A couple of weeks ago, early evening time
You have very loud shoes. Clump. Clump. Clump. 😂
Or a good microphone :)
