Originally I am from Isfahan but have been away from Iran for about 40 years. When I watch any movie about this city it reminds me my childhood in this great city. This city is center of art, history, great old-fashioned shops and also a very beautiful & unique church.... I can say, this city is heaven for tourists regardless of whatever they are looking for....
This is undeniably one of the nicest squares in the world, not only because of its arquitectural layout, the majestic Mosques and Palace, together with the uniqueness of the Bazaar entrance frescoes, but also because of the overall atmosphere of the well tended garden spaces, the sound of the water, people's laughter ... people's musical language sound with the high pitch at the end unknown to us as foreigners, but captivating nevertheless. Being drawn to the beauty and magic of this square is easy ... the problem is once we get back "home" and can't seem to find any "comparable" square.. and thus feel the void ... the painful absence of its sounds and sight.

You have been covering a wide range of aspects, but possibly things (monuments and other aspects) that are not listed in the "tourist must see" type of approach could be interesting. Thank you.
It looks a bit naked without trees. I would plant evergreens in every square covered in grass to keep it cool and give it more life and to beautify it. As i recall it used to have more trees.
