Hi, I just got the U35-4 Kubota and I am with you on getting use to the controls. Here in Southern California we don’t have many stumps. But I will take it to Louisiana where I have about 50 acres to play with and I can make some money back there. This is my retirement hobby!! Keep up the good work!!
That’s great. I’ve been running mine for about 3 years now and love it. I now have three digging buckets, a mower and a tilt bucket now. Next on the list is a ripper for stumps. Have fun.
Investing in a ditching bucket will make tidying up after much easier you can clean up right down to grass without damaging it with a little practice. A toothed bucket is good for digging but makes the job harder when grading up. Enjoyed the video nice job
@@arlingtonguy54 not a problem appreciate the reply , also if you're thinking of digging service trenches (water gas electric cables etc) try a 12"to 18" bucket with no teeth . Your far less likely to damage any other services that happen to cross your path. Believe me hitting an electric cable or gas main can really ruin your day
Good job, I think for your first time. Seat time is brain time. I enjoy your videos especially on the trail building. My biggest fear is working on slopes, like in the woods.
It's not quite as simple as breaking in a new pair of shoes. You and the machine will have to work together in harmony. Like Lester and Earl. .It takes time. Find yourself a can of black spray paint. Someone has brushed the back end of the machine up against something. Have patience grasshopper! You are on the right track. Ken
Yea just takes hours in the seat I guess. Hey bought an expensive can of paint from the volvo dealer and took care of that scrape this past weekend. She looks great now!
True and I don’t know why. We have a dealer right here near Asheville NC, Ascendum, but you hardly see them. Bobcat and Cats are everywhere. Volvo is quality equipment. The original owner sold me this one and bought a Deere but regrets it.
@@arlingtonguy54 thats funny. Im north of asheville in marshall. Going to look at the one in virginia tommorow possibly. Was a rental at a small rental place. Im just trying not to get burned. These things arent cheap.
@@truthhurts2149 be careful with rentals. I looked at a low hours bobcat e32 from a rental yard and it was trashed. You on Mini Excavators and Attachments on Facebook? Put the word out of what u r looking for. You might get lucky.
@@arlingtonguy54 thanks for info about the group. I joined up and posted. The ec25 ended up selling. I was unsure about adding a thumb as that unit was not set up for one from the factory. Plus the seller had it listed as a 2012 but they stopped production in 2008 and he never confirmed year for me so that kinda turned me off of it.
We have a dealer in this area and parts are available. I just ordered a ditching bucket and has a three week delivery. Thanks for watching and for your comment!
I am just the opposite, I go from a 100 to 200000 lb machine to one of the little guys they are balless! Fun to play with but when you are used to a machine that can literally walk up to a whole 6' oak tree and push it over...

Thanks. Everything is on slope here. It’s unnerving sometimes but I’m getting better at it.

You did great. I would love to have a machine like that.
Thanks. It’s been a long time coming and am fortunate to finally make it happen.
@@arlingtonguy54 got ur self a nice machine there got the same kind I bought used tho 2000H had it 2 year now 1500H+ no issues no problems :)
Oh, you bought the Volvo! Nice!
Oh yea. That was the obvious choice don’t you think? 🤔
Yeah, pretty much. Even so, congrats. Looks like a great machine.
Looking at a older volvo ec25. Not a lot of info on them online nor many for sale in the us.

Great video sir, is it true getting parts for Volvo excavators takes weeks and/or months?

how much you paid for the Volvo EC35C
👍🏼
Where do you find parts online? : }
I get all my parts and even fluids from the dealer. They are expensive but won’t take chances with this big of an investment.

Every tool has its place. Sometimes I need a shovel!😂
