yess ive been watching since middle school and now im almost about to graduate college :)
i bought the fanola box ages ago when mei first collabed with them and i do somewhat recommend it! though i have moved on from some products. the shampoo is now a holy grail, if anything just get that ^^ but i found the conditioner to be way too light for my hair so i use something a bit thicker. the leave in conditioner was pretty good and might consider getting again when i use up some other products. the serum and the spray i used up but wouldnt repurchase.
How much of the shampoo do you use? It throws me off that it barely has any soap suds. I use a quarter size and do it twice And dang girl! I’m barely halfway through mine and I bought the kit when it came out as well.

Bless you Mei, I also have long bleached / coloured hair (down to my hip bones) but it’s been not doing as good recently and I’ve noticed it’s not as thick as it used to be and I’ve been looking for some products to help! Cant wait to try some of these!!
I completely switched out all my hair products to fanola products following your suggestions and it's the best thing I've ever done!!! I have naturally very thick frizzy hair and for the first time in my life I feel like I'm able to manage it lol even though I got highlights all throughout my hair at the beginning of the year, my hair has been doing great!!!

i found that lusceta hair mask at an outlet store for like $5! it’s so good on my teal hair! mine is almost to my belly button too 🥰
It was thanks to you i gave Fanola n2 big bottle a try and i love it. I use it once a week when i dont feel i need olaplex n3 any longer (use it mostly after bleach day and then save up for later date) and it helps my hair stay healthy a lot. 2 year bleaching and dying green so far ^^

I did buy the Fanola kit, but to be honest I prefer Olaplex. My hair doesn't love the fiber fix as much and was much healthier to the touch with Olaplex. Try multiple products!!
Your hair is amazing length I wish my couöd be that long and even bit longer and this color too.. You're so lucky. I try my all to make it grow faster and healthier..
This will be so handy when I eventually take the plunge and dye my virgin hair.

i love your hair mei! i actually went to the salon and got my hair bleached and colored similar to the pastel purple you had previously, but i was wondering what mask you used to maintain it?
As a cheaper alternative I use virgin coconut oil. It actually makes a difference, especially to my scalp. And if it doesn't work for you then you can use it up when cooking! I also have Neil's Yard Hair Treatment, which is just coconut oil with lavender, rosemary and cedarwood. Whilst it makes your hair smell divine, it is a little pricier and difficult to wash out; you need to use shampoo over it.
Because of this it is important to use a gentle shampoo. I cannot reccommend Beauty Kubes enough! Simple but effective. I religiously use the pink rose one. Liquid shampoos seem to just slowly dry out and destroy my hair. But it has now reached my bellybutton and is very healthy!
I also bought the T3 Singlepass Curl after Mei recommended it. It is just what I was looking for, definitely feels less damaging and I will continue to use it whilst I work on perfecting heatless curls...thank you Mei! X

ive purchases the fanola leave in conditioner and hair oil twice already and the leave in conditioner is definetly my fav it leaves my really dry and brittle hair feeling like i belong in a hair commercial, the oil is pretty good but i prefer something thicker. i also have used the fiber fix conditioner and shampoo and OMG.. if youre going to get one thing from this video get that, my hair has never grown faster, been healthier, and smelled as amazing. i will swear by that product

Can anyone tell me if the bond connector mask she loves so much would be too hydrating or "too" nourishing for unprocessed hair? I want gorgeous long hair like hers but mine isn't processed, I just use heat on it (so it's a bit damaged) and I do get split ends but i'm wondering if it would be too heavy of a treatment for my hair? like I don't want my hair to turn limp and overnourished or smth lol if you know what I mean..

Fanola doesn't let us purchase the fiber fix products in Australia, they're restricted to trade - so only for registered salons and hairdressers :(
I just used soft bleach and dye on my hair and its down to my butt. I have to take care of it cause cutting it is not an option

semi permanent hair dyes tend to do more good than bad!
and once youve gotten the hair to the level of lightness you want you only really need to bleach the roots so it doesnt cause extra damage
are these good options for finer hair
Mhm I use most of the products she uses and I have quite thin hair! I just recommend using smaller amounts of each product. But everyone's hair is different so just experiment with it

Following all the tips and still having breakage? A little scientific info to put things into perspective: Asian hair is SO much stronger than Caucasian hair. African hair is even more fragile. Hair care is very important, but genetics determine a lot here. I wish more people knew this. Hair is not alive like skin, once it grows out of your head it's basically like fabric. Some fabrics are simply more prone to damage than others. If you're interested, just Google it a bit, or watch Sarah Ingle videos. No hate to Mei, I love her videos, but just trying to help people who don't understand why it's not working for them.
So your Fanola kit has no heat protection in any of the products. That would be super important considering we bleach our hair and to have that many products and I still gotta add another for heat protection is pretty sad. Definitely not well thought out.
