Surely not? It cant be that much quicker based on where the battery is situated things would always get in the way? Would be awesome if this is true might get an XXX to go with my new MX4 if thats the case, the biggest disappointment was the battery situation!
I just got mine today. It took me 50 min to put together. (But I have a Big Joe electric fork lift) For 3.2k this is a blast ! I love the way it carved on the road.
Absolutely worth the upgrade! I would buy them 19/17 with knobs delivered for the extra $150. Easy win. Changes the feel immediately. Much more anatomically comfortable being a mullet style with the offset wheels….. But, it is nice having 2 wheel sets 🤷🏻♂️
@@DaveOTG well I have the MX4, I was looking into the warp9 wheels 17" rear and 19" front. I currently have the shinko 244s so I would need a new one for the rear if I go 17"
Yes 21/18 will feel prime + better ergonomics for rolling over stuff while off-road. It’ll be an upgrade i get soon.. One thing is that it'll be heavier and you'll lose some speed with the bigger wheelset, so it's a compromise. Otherwise go for 19/17
@@offairheadyes that the limiter. I wonder why they wemt back to the dnm forks that's Def a downgrade from the other bikes that have talaria factory forks.
Could you make a video on how to center the brake pads on this bike? I just received mine and I’m having issues with the brakes rubbing and squeaking even when not engaged. Specifically the rear brakes
Loosen brake bolts where the caliper is at, next squeeze brake lever while tightening each bolt little by little alternating until completely tight, let go of brake pads and now you’re centered. If rotor still rubs badly repeat steps. A slight rub is normal, if you're rotor is obviously bent you will need a rotor tool to bend it back in place on a wheel truer
hi im only a teen and wanting an ebike, i have been saving up for years but I didn't know what kind's of bike to get and wondering what you think of it and just trying to have fun one one.
The XXX is a skinnier bike and the battery is tucked up behind the rear suspension. It comes with supermoto tires. I'm pretty sure it has a slightly better motor and runs at a higher voltage = more power The MX3 is your standard Emoto (Talaria Sting, Surron X, Segway, etc). The platform has been out for a few years and there are tons of upgrades available. Almost every piece of the bike can be replaced or upgraded. There is also a wide array of aftermarket batteries available to choose from for both bikes. And the mx3 comes with offroad tires. Both are amazing emotos. hope this helps!
@DaveOTG did you buy this bike from luna cycle because i asked twice and they said the front forks only have an adjustment for preload. and if you didnt where did you buy it from, thanks.
I wish I could attach screenshots, just before the description portion of the XXX it says, "Now you can opt to switch to the MX wheel set for a $150 upcharge". But I see it doesn't give you an option to click that button, hence I would email them for clarification.
Yeah, I think it would be unsafe, if you can't tippy toe and hold the bike upright at stops, but there are plenty of other ebike options with sloping top tubes that would work for you!
Dude that thing looks fun as hell! Great review! The cop, I get the same feeling every time on my ebike lol

You DO NOT have to remove the rear wheel in order to remove the battery . Some are shipping with a new quick release.
Surely not? It cant be that much quicker based on where the battery is situated things would always get in the way? Would be awesome if this is true might get an XXX to go with my new MX4 if thats the case, the biggest disappointment was the battery situation!
Depends on mechanical skill. Some can remove in a couple minutes. I agree though... maybe make it so battery could slide out from the side.
@@7sonero7 you also have to get to the tools. it makes me hesitant upgrade power with stock battery.
U seem to know your stuff, I’m looking to get this bike and can u disconnect the brake sensors? It seems very tricky to do
Where do I get in from?
So glad to see you wearing a helmet, it makes me happy to know you’re being safe out there!!

does the extra tires come with the supermoto tires or do they replace them altogether, btw awesome video!
Wait when u click the off road tires wheelset option u do u get the supermotos too bcs the off road tires are like 150 more or sum

Cool bike Bf😍
how do you remove the bike battery? im looking to get this, but i live in a apartment
Yessss!! Missed you!! First to comment!! Can’t wait to watch.

2:55 I don’t know but I am very curious why you would clip a wire on your new bike.
9:37 “limiter” …is THAT the wire you clipped?
@@offairheadyes that the limiter. I wonder why they wemt back to the dnm forks that's Def a downgrade from the other bikes that have talaria factory forks.
It's comparable to factory talaria or faceace forks. eric from luna said it's just to keep up with demand and available parts.
@@DaveOTG it's not at all comparable to fastace or talaria factory it's Def a huge step down I'd be upset that's not what they advertised
nice,, so what does cutting that wire do ?
Cuts the speed limiter
Nice . Been waiting to pull the trigger. I’m going to finance one next month. Thanks for the video. I’m 6’1 140lbs. Should be fine yeah?
You should be fine. Ride it stock, then when you save a few more pennies get riser bars. I'm 6'1" as well

If you can respect the power and the road - its a blast. That being said, if i bought this as a teen i would get into big trouble
How would you compare the xxx to a sting mx3?

i jus ordered bike and i was worried about the size too
im 5'11 197
Im 6’1 200lbs

About a week
Does this bike still need oil changes ?
No it has a belt drive. No gearbox
@DaveOTG did you buy this bike from luna cycle because i asked twice and they said the front forks only have an adjustment for preload. and if you didnt where did you buy it from, thanks.
Yes from Luna cycle. In their website states the same, as of the time producing this video
did you order it from luna cycle? cause it never gives me an option to buy the talaria with the dirt wheelset, it only lets me purchase it seperatly.
It says there's a $150 upcharge if you choose the dirt tires over the supermotos.. I would email them if you're having trouble ordering.
@@DaveOTG for me it says the dirt tires are a 400 dollar upcharge, i didnt order it im just looking from the website

What helmet would you recommend for purely street riding it
A full face helmet that is ece and dot rated, that fits your head comfortably

Can i be the winner of this one
Fun fact, none of those ski resorts are in eagle Colorado.
*along the i70
is this or the sting r better
Depends on your height and budget. Overall the MX4 Sting R is better but it is more expensive
How fast does it goe
So far 55mph (not gps verified)
where did you get yours?
Luna cycle
ok thanks!@@DaveOTG
I want one 😂😅
125 pounds is a lot?
The avg 16 can lift 160 lbs
Top speed?

What’s the if you know you know
make a tikt0k and stream from there
it needs a pedals kit so you don't get harassed
That won't stop the harassment, but Luna cycle is planning on making one..
Darn, I’m too short for it
How short are we talking?

American version 🤣
man im 6'6''. so most likely sting for me
Sting r is an overall better bike
I'm between 6'3"-6'4", I'm just afraid you're won't be big enough for me
I'd go for the Sting R with riser bars, and taller tires imo. I'm 6'1" and the Xxx is too small for longer rides
@@DaveOTG thank you
