FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. What are the shelves/posts you use to place objects on surfaces or that you place some objects on? How do you shift objects up and down?
A. OMSP's usually! There are many around but a lot of the ones I use are linked here. I also sometimes use the walk around and walk through blocks, or the shift everything mod.

Q. Is this lot/neighbourhood/Sim available for download?
A. For a lot, if it is up for download more than likely I have shared an unfurnished version of it, and if it was already shared before I published the video I'll link it in the description. You can always ask but I can't guarantee I'll always have a copy to save! If you see a Sim you like I'm happy to extract a clean copy of them to share. I don't share my neighbourhoods or subhoods for download.
Q. Where can I get all your CC?
A. I have close to 10GB collected over many years so that's almost impossible to answer! If you have a few specific items you're looking for I'm happy to help, please keep it reasonable though (no more than a 3-4 items per video please). I use a lot of 4t2 CC and if you search the 4t2cc tag on Tumblr, you will find TONS including items converted from TS4 CC creators. This is a great database for EA 4t2 conversions. I also have done some conversions and other CC myself.

Editing the ceiling, filling in the spaces between the wall paper by holding shift and placing the stair railing to one side.. the sims 4 could never
Haha to be a little fair to TS4 that stair railing in particular is just an object. I do wish I could do that with all railings! I've played with TS4 build mode and there's a lot of things I would steal from it for TS2, but there were also some things that made me think yikes you can keep that!
I love that you make speedbuilds in sims 2! I love the game so I'm glad to see someone play it on yt! :D

I wouldn't call it dark. Not enough home designers IRL use dark wall colors, but the dark colors actually give a classy feel to rooms. Especially dark green and dark blue. And I also like the dark gold/brown walls. I always wanted to paint a room dark green. It makes you feel like you're in a forest. The exterior is rather British looking. It looks like a real life house.

Sorry, I think that was a mistake, I probably thought I was replying about a different lot! I don’t have a version of this for download because I built the whole thing while the Sims lived on the lot.

yay I finally had a chance to watch this video, I absolutely love this house's aesthetic! Gives me spooky pacific northwest vibes for sure, super cozy but with that bit of dark edginess that helps make it interesting. It's giving hbo family drama mystery prestige tv vibe lolol, my fave! Also wow omg I need to download those stair wall cutouts you used, I somehow already have the railings you used above it but I'm always like why did I download these what were these railings for?? now I'm like THAT"s how I was supposed to use them lmao. The living room is so cute, I love all the clutter and I love the pop of color of the bright books on the bookshelf. I'm too obsessed with building houses that have a green/dark wood color scheme so this house is way up my alley! 😁
Thank you! I love that kind of dark and cozy vibe in decor so it’s always nice to build in it! The whole set up with the stairs and the landing with the little couch nook was based on a pic of someone’s TS4 game I saw, and thought was so cool. I’ve had those stair wall cutouts for a while and never think to use them! And then the little railing objects are actually from Raynuss’ wooden spiral staircase set and kind of snap to them, but it also never occurred to me to use them like this cause I never configured stairs like this, now I kind of love it!
I need you to decorate some of my lots lol!

@@88kayleigh You are welcome. I do have a question about the roof. When you are using the flat on one side (I think it's the first choice) and your are trying to cover a 4x4 area how do you get the flat part to be near the wall of the house? It wants to go sideways for me. Also what front door, back doors, and windows did you use for this house?
The video is great and I love the color scheme! I would have liked to download an unfurnished version of the lot but the two houses in the post linked in the description don't look like the one in the video. Is the house in the video a heavily edited version of one of the two in the post or...?
