    How difficult would it be to add behaviors during the chase, such as ramming and pit manovers. I saw another comment mentioned spawning during the chase, couldnt it be accomplished by copying the spawner from your previous tutorial, making the spawner check if the player is being pursued currently, then activating the spawners within a certain radius from the player, possibly anticipated from a point that is a set distance infront of the player.

      In my opinion ramming from sides is possible if you use 2 collision boxes on the right and the left side of the main car(player) then when the chaser (enemy) reaches the right side of the car, in the blueprints it will turn to the left to hit the main car

    amazing tutorial as always, can you please make a tutorial on how to make backfire, i would love to have backfire similar to beamng in my game so if it is possible i would be very happy

    great tutorial! by any chance do you know how to get vehicle sounds on a vehicle with no inherent movement!! my kart is a coded kart and i cant figure out how to set up engine sounds for it!!!

    Towards the end of the video, is the Chase Characters function a custom one? I was able to do everything else in the tutorial except for that function call.

    There is no update section in the event graph or AI_Car blueprint in the template.

    Can u make the car driving more accurate and try to stop the car by getting in front on that and add more ai cars like this and thankyou u started this series 😘😘😘😘

      I know what you mean, but there is problem. If you would limit the driving of the ai to for example "only roads", than it would be to easy for the Player to get away. Unless you would limit the Player as well. Of course you can put as many AI as you want in the World. The all will chase the Player if you trigger them and if you want them in the Front of the Player, just set the Target to a component in the Front of the Player.

    Does this work I. Ue5 and is there a way to mak eit so you lose them

      Yes it does, and yes you could check the Distance between the Player and the other Car to deactivate the function.

    Can you do pedestrian AI?
    so they don't run into each other and smoothly turn at corners and away from other peds

    Is it possible to make it like a police car and if the player leaves the car the police officer opens the door and leaves it open shouting STAY WHERE YOU ARE

      Sure, but this will involve many Animations and the Sound File to play. Maybe I will make a Tutorial about that.

    You should add more dynamics to it, we want to see cop car AI like in Need For Speed MW2005, where they can lost us, spawn them self's, level upping the difficulty

      Of course this would be great, but this would way more complicated. Don't forget that there a thousand of people worked on Need for Speed and other big titles.
