For food, keep an eye out for fruit trees! They're everywhere and you can make a BUNCH of small treats and they add up quickly! Yucca Juice is crazy easy to make since they're everywhere too. My advice is to make soups! Make clay bowls and I think 1-2 cans per soup. They take care of both hunger and thirst - raid the vending machines! They always restock and their prices are much lower than the vendors! Also, the Scout trader has the lowest prices on meds if you need them.
You came a long way from that first day where you nearly starved. To now you are about to build a mini bike. I think you can build a snare trap. I'd build chicken pens as soon as you can
Great episode!👍Good luck getting the minibike, won't be long now Go for those chicken pens, you won't have to chase all those bird nests all the time and you'll have bacon & eggs all day every day! 😋
@@perky42069 Thx Josh. So the animal feed lures the chickens to the pen or something because you don't start with chickens I believe. PS don't play DF myself (yet)
Hey, I just made a video of my base if anyone wants to see it.. Let me know if you've seen a bigger base than this. I made it on insane difficulty, feral sense on, vanilla, no mods, no cheats, no creative mode, all survival mode. If you don't want to watch the whole 20 minute video, just fast forward to 11:30 to see the Eiffel Tower Base. Thanks. I'm sure you guys will let me know if I did the farming wrong. Should I build the Chicken Coop and Bee Hive? Are they worth it?
The beehive is OP right now. You could probly live off honey your entire playthrough they produce so much lol
@@perky42069 How do i even get a beehive?! :?
@@PixelLifeGaming It's unlocked thru the Farming skill
@@perky42069 Gotcha!

Wooden bow can't use iron or better arrows! Your best bet is getting a compound bow or figuring out how to make scrap iron arrows!
NOOOOO!!! Another Noob error!

Yeah. I really need to get me some sustainable food
@@PixelLifeGaming Apparently all you have to feed/lure the chickens is made from apples.
@@SighClops201 You can make animal feed with apples and bananas at the mortar and pestle
Also, break down birds nests after looting to get that extra feather goodness!
