IMHO, PTX takes songs I don't like and makes me like them. They take songs I like, and makes me love them. And they take songs I love and blows them into the stratosphere!!
Nobody could sing this like Scott and Kirstin. Great reaction.
I wish there had more Mitch too…it was still striking but I love me some Mitch 🥺 Kevin is ridiculously talented!!
IMHO this is one of Kirstin's very best performances; she was brilliant.
Another stunning cover is “Say Something” by Christina Aguilera and Great Big World. it is a few years older than this video and it’s Kevin’s first cello performance in the group. Kirsten has a beautiful lead role.
I think the first cello playing Kevin did was Radioactive when Avi was with them.

I'm so happy, Kirstie took this natural lead, and did such a gorgeous job.
In some ways, I think this is the most ravishing sound they have ever produced. Every time I've heard this, it hits me straight in the heart all over again.
They made this on tour after making light in the hallway, so hard working young people.
This is my favorite PTX video where Kevin is playing cello and celloboxing near the end of the song. I agree with you that it takes the song to another level. Great reaction, keep them coming.

Loved your reaction and your initial comments - acknowledging each of them, what they are doing and what is expected from them. You were spot on!! You know them. Loved your "I knew it" expression when Mitch took that bridge and just lifted it again for Kirstie to come back in. PTX work so well together and each arrangement, every action, choice wardrobe, placement of singer, and video setting is deliberate and intentional. Just a beautiful rendition of this song. Maters of their game in every sense of the word. I watched your very first reaction to PTX and I have followed your channel ever since - you sir are a Pentaholic now!! This is one of my very favorite PTX songs. I have no idea how Kevin can play the cello so beautifully AND beatbox at the same time!! Pure talent that every single one of them has. Thank you for reacting to this. Another good one is Come Along...that is great too!

Great to see Beyonce (Kevin's cello) again in this video. Beautiful cinematography with everything in shades of grey, except for the gold highlights. And Kirstie was brilliant in this.

I don't know if anyone has told you, Kevin has his own You Tube channel, "KO" and you can watch him work his magic. Great reaction to a great cover. I wish to recommend a couple of covers. First since you are fond of Mitch, his solo cover of Billie Eilish's "Your Power" is amazing. And Kevin's solo cover of "Down" is awesome, he is a genius.

One thing that struck me in this video is how Kirstin's voice has matured and grown into something amazing. In my opinion this was not another cover but another upgrade from Pentatonix.

They’re awesome, great song. If you have kids try “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts to all my brothers and sisters across the pond. Many people keep a copy of the lyrics in their family bibles.
A Star is Born has been made 4x, 1937 was about movie stars not singers, 1954 with Judy Garland, 1976 and the latest 2018 Lady Gaga. I've seen all versions. The best one by far IMHO is the one made with Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand 1976 version. I suggest watching that one first.😊

I absolutely agree with everything you said, and I agree, it needed a but longer Mitch slap.
I agree that Mitch's part could have been a bit longer, as a matter of fact, the whole song could have been longer. As always with Pentatonix, I'm wishing all their songs could go on for 5 or 6 minutes. They are so, so, so good. There is only one song that they have done that I did not care for, but it was not because of anything they did or didn't do, it's actually the lyrics of the song that I really don't like. The song being "Radioactive". I never have liked that song. Don't forget, that's just my opinion.

I feel the same about how perfect this was, but yes also I wanted Mitch’s part to last longer. Have you seen PTX-Jolene WITH Dolly Parton, let’s just say they won a Grammy for it.
The original seems a tad flat after listening to this cover...
The movie was good but not as good as the original A Star Is Born starring Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristopherson (sp)?
