I've completed this game a few times and I'm two skill points from completing absoloutely everything so watching someone play this in the perspective of never playing it like I had once played it was something amazing yo watch And because nobody spends so much effort into editing a video, that made it all the more worthy

Can't wait to watch the rest! Yeah the Ratchet & Clank series as a whole is pretty good, though I'll admit I wasn't much of a fan of the very first one; I feel like the games definitely improved as time went on. I'd say the third one "Up Your Arsenal" is definitely my favorite of the original PS2 trilogy. Still, nothing beats good ol' Crash & Spyro, that's for sure. Also love the Twinsanity references, btw. I definitely got Madame Amberly vibes from Helga as well. 😂

Funniest comment not to bring attention to myself but I tried doing that at one point. It's not easy (if you're trying to make it good), very time consuming (especially when you have other things to do), but it's worth it in the end.
it's pretty endearing to see someone play through this game as a newcomer to the series, because I remember that a lot of the mistakes you made, I made as well when I first played the game years ago. Replaying it now, I know exactly what to do and where to go and the quickest way to do anything, so it was refreshing to see someone discovering this for the first time.

I lost it when you used 'your welcome' like that, beautiful. I'm new to your stuff but that was hilarious! Pity you didn't feel like playing more, you would have enjoyed some of the weapons, like turning enemies into chickens (or giant chickens if upgraded post-game). This series is my favourite growing up, along with Jak and Daxter.
Fond childhood memories, and glorious humour watching you play and edit it here and there. Also, personally, great hilarious moments were 15:44 - 16:12 and 17:17 - 17:29. ^^
Did you managed to get to Planet Quartu (Robot Plant)? If so; have you noticed that the music sounds a lot like the Rhinoroller soundtrack from Crash Mind Over Mutants? 😆 😆
I kind of hope you come back to this. Not to play it necessarily, but because there is a lot of gold in some of the dialogue, especially in the sequel and third game. Part 4 as well. Everything after that, not so much...

Did you ever get around to beating the game? I agree with the checkpoints. I've played this game hundreds of times, and I still have trouble. Checkpoints are where the vendors are located. Thankfully, in the sequel and later games in the series, Checkpoints are a bit more generous. They still become scarce after a while, but it's expected, as the difficulty ramps up and you should have more weaponry at that point.

Did you even need to repeat that section of the level after getting the Suck Cannon? I think you still get to keep it, even after dying immediately afterwards. Or am I just remembering wrong?
No, you don't have to, but I didn't realise getting the Suck Cannon was my end goal for that section. I thought I was looking for the lieutenant or something, not realising I had to go to Aridia first to do that. I could've prevented all that if I'd just bothered to look at the map, though.
NPCarlsson I've dealt with similar problems with Ratchet. More than once I've had to look up what I'm supposed to do. It tells you, but not really very well. What you're supposed to do can be one hundred percent overlooked. Say, what if you hadn't found the Plummer, like me on my first run through? You would've been really confused when you couldn't find the trespasser anywhere else. I get that it's a game about exploration, but that's not the main point of the game; someone could pick it up and want to blaze through it (like you can with Spyro) and all of the flawed game design would get in the way. Not that I hate or even dislike Ratchet and Clank, I just feel like it has flaws.
TerrorOfTalos well if you want to 100% them (or in the case of YotD, 117%), then yeah. I didn't say they didn't have backtracking. But my point is still true. You can still blaze through Spyro; you don't need foolishly hidden things to PROGRESS IN THE GAME. In Ratchet, you do. That was my point.
Sheep-Face I feel like this is a preference thing if anything, but from what I could it's like the developers wanted the player to at least go through most paths the planet had to obtain a gadget/upgrade before progressing in the story. Yeah some new players may not like it but honestly it's not even that much of a pain to backtrack because of how the levels are designed.
