I really liked this review. It is refreshing to see a reviewer that appreciates pat’s artistry. Say what u want about her pink themes, she’s an expert at what she does and makes great palettes.
We appreciate the artistry, but we are tired of the pinks and golds. If you put the divine rose collection, just looking at them they look similar. And if you apply the pinks and golds on the eyes you can barely tell the difference. So it’s kinda disappointing, for the price point paying for a palette with say a few shades that are different is not worth it.
Ugh.. I wasn't interested in this palette at all, and then Patty uploads and now I'm drooling wanting this! Patty is bad for my bank balance! Yes please for a 5 look video. Just FYI for next time, The pronunciation of the shade Plum Caberet, the T in Caberet is silent 😉. (cab-ah-ray)

Mine is arriving today. I love the shimmers and blitz shades, but wish the two rose/burgundy mattes were lighter, and different colors altogether. So sick of those shades. They looked much lighter in the promo photos, too. I am looking forward to your five looks video, though to see what we can do with it. I'll probably end up trying to combine the shimmers with mattes from other (non-Pat McGrath) palettes. I'm so done with rose and burgundy shades from Pat McGrath. It's as if there are no other colors... I don't even think they go with the other shades in the palette.

All her latest quads, past two holiday palettes, and last two Bridgeton’s have similar transition shades. I’d love a green or a periwinkle , or just something new. For this one, I feel like two golds and two similar midtone transition shades seems like a lost opportunity for many of who’d like more creative variations from PMG for such an expensive palette.

If she would have swapped one of the mid tone matte shades with a light beigey transition color it would’ve been a perfect palette for me. With those matte all the looks will be very purpley - redish
I have one of Pat’s eyedol singles in “statuesque” it’s the perfect neutral transition and I find it opens up so many more options when using Motherships. I love it and use it so much I bought back ups. It’s on sale too £10.

Surprised at how red leaning the mattes are…. Definitely not what the pics made it look like. But truthfully and probably an unpopular opinion, I’m thoroughly bored with PM eyeshadows. They’re all warm toned, slightly different versions of the same thing and I find myself veering more and more into luxury quads with a more subdued elegance instead of these huge palettes with glitter.
I couldn't agree with you more! And every year I think "Maybe this will be the year she'll release a palette that isn't red/mauve/pink and gold", but no. I'd love to try her shadows, but as a cool-toned redhead I look like Bozo the clown in those colors..lol.. oh well, I can only hope everyone will be done with those colors soon since we've had what seems like an entire year of it!

I actually like that it’s more of a neutral palette. It’s probably the most Neutral one she has. I don’t like the bronze seduction one as it’s too red and too green. This one looks better!

I feel like motherships palettes have become a cash grab. There are variations of certain tones of mattes and metallics in every palette. Of course the gold too. Similar in every palette, just slightly different. Just the special eyeshadows are different in each palette. Which makes the consumer want the palette... even though not a lot of effort went into making the palette truly different from its predecessor.
I commented on her Instagram post saying it was redundant and repetitive. She liked my comment, so I'm hoping someone in her team passed it onto her or she realises that her older fans are really sick of seeing the same palette each time. I don't know why you would want to drop $129 on a palette with only 4 shades that are unique

Going from the name, it would have been great to see a majority of cool toned shades in the palette. I know atleast one warm shade would have been necessary - looking from a consumers point. Warm shades appeal to the masses. Would also have been great to have had NO pinks and gold!
Same! I wanted cool tones without pinks, or at least pinks we haven’t seen a bizillion times now. Just the name moonlit seduction makes me think of cool silvery, taupe, lilac, periwinkle, just glimmering moonlight kinda shades ….several of these shades are right on point. A few seem similar to huda Rose Quartz ….strangely enough.
My main complaint about this palette is the mattes. I agree that the shimmers are very unique with the exception of the gold. But I really don’t prefer to use pink/mauve/burgundy mattes on the day to day, and all of the most recent palettes have had those types of mattes. I would love a true neutral light brown, or even caramel or khaki toned mattes. Also cabaret is pronounced like “caba-ray” ☺️

It’s a beautiful palette, and even though it’s pink I like that she changed it up a bit by giving it a cool tone to it. I’m bummed and wish that she would have given us something different from pink, I definitely feel that 3 or 4 years ago her mothership launches would be so hype and they would sell out. I hope for the next one she gives us a fun color story 🤞🏼 but for now I’ll just sit here patiently waiting for your 5 looks one palette video 😊
I agree, I’m getting tired of the pinks. I thought the same thing about this palette and the reason why I didn’t get it. Would have been great otherwise. There has been enough of pink in so many other motherships it’s a waste

I love these tones it’s so beautiful and one of the more wearable Pat palettes for my blonde hair and [cool-toned)fair skin. I will likely have to wait until the Sephora VIB sale.
I love PML even if her palettes are a similar color story, you can’t beat her special glitters! However, I would love to see less bulky packaging! These Motherships are so heavy that I will never travel with them but I really want them with me when I do travel! ❤️

Dearest Patty, it wasn't until I saw you swatch this palette that I finally could see just how stunning it was. Photos of the palette didn't do it justice but you certainly did. I really love seeing you in cooler tones and was so pleased when you first reached for the plum shade and deepened it up with the cool brown. How much I wanted to see that favourite shade of yours that was placed in the middle of the lid over the rest of the inner eye too but I understand that you were trying as many shades as possible. I just love the matte shades but I would have liked a lighter toned matte, just like you like your inner corner shimmers, I like my light base shades. I just can't wait to see you do the 5 looks video, as one who doesn't own a Mothership palette, except for the Celestial Holiday Palettes, I have so far enjoyed this palette so much that it would be amongst my top three.🇦🇺💖🕊

It’s a beautiful palette, and even though it’s pink I like that she changed it up a bit by giving it a cool tone to it. I’m bummed and wish that she would have given us something different from pink, I definitely feel that 3 or 4 years ago her mothership launches would be so hype and they would sell out. I hope for the next one she gives us a fun color story 🤞🏼 but for now I’ll just sit here patiently waiting for your 5 looks one palette video 😊
I agree, I’m getting tired of the pinks. I thought the same thing about this palette and the reason why I didn’t get it. Would have been great otherwise. There has been enough of pink in so many other motherships it’s a waste

I got mine yesterday. Absolutely stunning. Love the color story. So unique. The name fits the color story perfectly. The formula is A1 per usual. I'm so happy with it!!

I love these tones it’s so beautiful and one of the more wearable Pat palettes for my blonde hair and [cool-toned)fair skin. I will likely have to wait until the Sephora VIB sale.

I love PML even if her palettes are a similar color story, you can’t beat her special glitters! However, I would love to see less bulky packaging! These Motherships are so heavy that I will never travel with them but I really want them with me when I do travel! ❤️

Dearest Patty, it wasn't until I saw you swatch this palette that I finally could see just how stunning it was. Photos of the palette didn't do it justice but you certainly did. I really love seeing you in cooler tones and was so pleased when you first reached for the plum shade and deepened it up with the cool brown. How much I wanted to see that favourite shade of yours that was placed in the middle of the lid over the rest of the inner eye too but I understand that you were trying as many shades as possible. I just love the matte shades but I would have liked a lighter toned matte, just like you like your inner corner shimmers, I like my light base shades. I just can't wait to see you do the 5 looks video, as one who doesn't own a Mothership palette, except for the Celestial Holiday Palettes, I have so far enjoyed this palette so much that it would be amongst my top three.🇦🇺💖🕊

I really want a mothership but this palette looks less shimmery than online. The divine rose ones and the bronze seduction one look nicer imo
