Leaf Box Dump Trailer Setup | Billy Goat Leaf Vacuum 18hp

Going over the leaf box dump trailer set up with the billy goat debris loader 18hp and a extended 20ft hose. Quick overview of what I like about the set up and my ideas on building one.

Yes we are always learning and improving. I will be putting some hoops on the top to raise it and keep the debris from ripping the mesh tarp.

If you're not going to fix that boo boo on your truck any time soon, at least spray a little clear coat over it so it won't rust under there. If anything, it will buy you some time.

What is the size of your trailer? How much leafs it usually fits dry/wet (in lbs) ? Thanks!

The trailer box is 12’ long by 6 ft high. I’m not sure in pounds, but when the leaf season starts and the leaves are nice and dry it can fit a good amount of leaves.
Now that everything is wet, the vacuum doesn’t shred them as much so it reduces the capacity by about 1/2.

Does the 20 ft house lose any suction being so long? We also have a similar set up but I made a rear dump door like dump trucks. Only have to open trailer gate remove the hose off side of trailer and 4 bungee off back, dump and done.

As far as I can tell, there is no loss of suction. I had the same concern, but I think it’s been very efficient.

Did u buy the unit with that hose? Or order a longer hose?

I would have done 115 feet long and 120 feet long. Because they do wear out the hoses.
