Got mine today….I am a beginner. I initially purchased the Deerc D10 but returned it for this one with GPS. I really like it. I took it out and got it in the air no problem. Your vid was a big help!… looking forward y to having lots of fun with it!!
I'm not sure if you shop Banggood but if you do. Go check out the line of camera drones they have. They have some with camera gimbals and a better camera for about the same price or just a little more. This is a great learner drone but I think for just a little more money you can get a better more hobby grade drone for your actual filming needs. Unfortunately I haven't tested any of them but I am tempted to purchase one that has a higher res cam and has gimbals to stabilize and adjust the camera in flight. Also with brushless motors and under $200.
Bought this Quad as a starter to give to my G-son for XMas. Arrived yesterday so I charged both batteries and then took it for a flight. Bad news, after setup I couldn’t get the drone to stabilize. Although it showed 14 satellites I don’t believe the GPS was actually working. Returning it today.
I just ordered this after playing with a VA 2080 toy drone from Walmart that got me hooked. The tiny VA obviously doesn't work well in the wind considering it's smaller than my hand but how well does this work in the wind?
it can handle some wind but nothing too crazy. and if its windy the video isn't going to be great. This is ok in calm weather and can resist some wind.
@Run That RC thanks, man. I almost pulled the trigger on a dji mini se but quickly changed my mind knowing damn well I'm not confident enough for a $300+ plus drone just yet so I got this one. Smashing $116 into the ground won't hurt as badly as $300 lol
@@kitten-whisperer that's why I bought two -- one to learn on, expecting it to crash a lot (it does) but it has stood up pretty well, and haven't had to open the box on the other one -- yet. lol!
Your phone must be 5g compatible(802.11 ac) to use with phone. It won't work with 4G only. You can still use with 2.4G but you will only be able to use the remote. (No recording through phone)
@@prettyplushsizej4111 sorry I dont own this drone anymore and don't remember. I just scanned the QR code in the instructions booklet and it took me to the app.
This is a cheap piece of junk. Took off and never came back. Have the video of it saying buh bye. It landed somewhere in very thick brush with snakes and who knows what else. If you only want to go 25 feet and not too high yea whatever. But it weighs nothing so be prepared for it to sail away.
sounds like a bad experience. Mine goes pretty far. even further than the video sugnal can transmit. Probably got a defective one. They are light and not meant to fly on very windy days that for sure.

very fun drone for sure. It's very intuitive and simple enough to get you into the camera drone world. Thanks for stopping by!
Cool drone nice overview really good explanation of all the functions nice video think I might have to get me one for airial footage of my rc runs 🤟👍

I have issues with gesture mode too
Yeah I never got it to work right but I dont really use that and headless mode anyways.
Great review 👏 👌 👍🏼
Thanks! 👍
isent this the snaptain sp500 ?
it very well could be the same. These companies just buy from other companies and rename the products so they can be exactly the same.
Do you have to calibrate the gps and gyros every time you turn on the drone.
unfortunately yes, but fortunately its simple and doesn't take too much time to calibrate.

That's unfortunate. QC issues probably. Mine worked and flew ok for what it is.

Any advice for the Wi-Fi network not showing up at all
I wish I could tell you but I just followed the instructions and it works so I unfortunately can't help brotha.
I can't get mine to work like that in the field. Is there a way to hook up on my cell phone?
i believe this drone should be able to connect via wifi to your cell phone just need the app for it.
Does this get disabled automatically by NFZ's like DJI drones do?
I'm actually not sure. Probably not unless its a gps location thing that can detect and disable the gps lock maybe? Sorry I can't be of more help
How does the vr mode work
vr is used with one of those vr headsets you buy for your phone to go into and it splits the screen to give you vr if you want to fly that way.
@@RunThatRC thx, and thx for the video
How do u connect to a 4g phone
You have to download the app and have your location and wifi on.

This Drone can go 90ft insane!!!!!!!
I was limited to the small park I was at. Didn't want to end up in someone's back yard but it will go a lot further for sure.
Can’t get mine to fly
